Songs About A Girl was the perfect start to what promises to be a brilliant trilogy, and now for the real reason your reading this review; Songs About Us - put it this way, I started reading it at 10am yesterday morning and I finished it this morning. (I even went out last night) so it's safe to say I couldn't put the book down it was such an enticing read.
Not only did it have hints of humour it was also a tug at the heartstrings read with the popular "will she, won't she" theme all the way through it. Charlie is an interesting and brave character who's just trying to find out about her past, with the mysterious twists and turns along the journey caused by ... what else boys.
This isnt just for young girls as you may believe on first look - So many people can relate to this book, trying to find a missing piece of yourself and hitting many speed bumps along the way.
If you want a thrilling read that provokes all the right emotions you could want when immersed in a story - then this book is for you.
