Somewhere With You is an exceptionally emotionally charged Novel that will hold you within its pages from the very start. I have never read any Novels before that have been written by Britney King but this Novel's Synopsis spoke to me, so when the opportunity to read this Novel for this Review Tour opportunity was offered to me I grabbed it with both hands, and I have to say I was not in the slightest disappointed with my choice - I was whisked away on a journey centered around the mending of hearts that turns to True Love.

Centered primarily around Camp Hope, a camp for children from bereaved families we meet Jack Harrison at the age of 10 and Amelia Rose at the tender age of 8 years old. Both children have suffered great losses, with Jacks Mother passing away from Cancer and Amelia's Father passed away in a car accident. Their surviving parent's decide that sending them to Camp Hope (A specialist bereavement counseling and wellness center within a cam environment) is the best course of action and the story that follows is one of the most heart warming but wrenching all at once.

Jack is a privileged boy and has grown up surrounded by wealth, the death of his mother rips out the very young boy's heart. At the tender age of 10 years old shrouded in grief his father sends him to Camp Hope in order to help him come to terms with what has come to pass. When he meets Amelia initially he feels she is just a pesky little girl, she is far too carefree, where he is far too serious, to him money is power and with power and money, any thing and anyone can be bought.

I absolutely loved this book. It's one of those book about first love that you just can't put down. It's beautifully written, loved the way it started as memories and turned into the full past story where they meet and get to know each other and the second part of the book is the present.
Both have had it hard and you can really feel for them, their pain and heartache and the dilema they go through. It does contain a scene of cheating but for some reason it didn't bother me here.
It was a truely beautiful story showing love and friendship between a guy and a girl discovering their feelings for each other and all the bumps in their road, discovering themselves and growing up into adults.
So much happen to them seperatly that you just want them to be happy and find their long lost love.
I really do recommend this book, so touching and sweet mixed with some drama, lies, betrayal from loved ones.

I absolutely loved this book. Britney has done a fantastic job of this book. I was gripped from page one. The author certainly plays with your emotions in this book.

This is probably in my top ten favourite romantic stories of all time. Jack and Amelia met when they were eight and ten. Britney tells the story so wonderfully that you can feel these characters emotions. 1-click this fantastic book and read about their adventures.

I loved Britney's Bedrock series so much that I thought reading this would disappoint me as I didn't think she would beat Bedrock. I was so wrong. I can't even find the words to say how much I loved this book.

HASH(0x9200cb04) out of 5 stars AMAZING 15 April 2014

SUMMER'S BOOK BLOG

Somewhere With You is a story about first love and Britney King did such an amazing job grabbing her audience from the very first sentence. Jack Harrison lost his mother to cancer at a 9 and his father thinks it a good idea to send him to Camp Hope, a bereavement camp for children who lost parents, to help him grieve. This is where he meets Ameile Rose. Her father was killed in a car accident. As they get to know each other, she bothers every fiber of his being. They are very different, you see. Jack is very a very serious, driven boy who thinks money is power and everyone can be bought. Amelie is an artist. She carries her camera around everywhere, is a star gazer and sees herself as a small part of something much bigger. Jack and Amelie return to Camp Hope year after year and all Amelie wants is for Jack to notice her- to not see her as a kid, his friend, and when he returns for his final year that is exactly what happens. But will it be to late for Jack? Has Amelie given up on being anything more than a kid in Jack eyes? A night of bad decisions on Amelie's part leads to a road trip that will change the course of their lives forever. Can two people so young and different truly be meant for each other or will the up's and down's of life get in their way?

Britney King, seriously, I can not even use enough adjectives to describe how much I loved this book! From the moment I picked it up I was captivated. I felt myself rooting for Jack and Amelie from the very first chapter. The pure emotion was insane- just when you thought it was a simple love story there was a twist and your heart sank. I fell in love with Jack and Amelie and laugh and cried with them throughout the whole story. My only hope is that Britney turns them into a series.

I could go on and on about this book but for fear of giving too much away I will leave you with this- If you have had a first love that has turned into a life long love, like I have, this book is for you. Amazing Job, Britney!!

HASH(0x9200cb58) out of 5 stars Story okay, Language not 27 April 2015

I received this book free in exchange for a review. The story begins with two kids at a camp for children who have endured the death of a parent and follows those same two into adulthood. I really enjoyed the story, not so much the language. Britney King is quite fond of the "f-word" and seems to use it as much as she possibly can manage to type it in. Sometimes it seemed the word was there just to add an extra word, and for me, this distracted from the flow of the story.

HASH(0x928ed5dc) out of 5 stars Brittney King, I love you! 16 April 2014

Jack Harrison and Amelie Rose...two kids sent to summer camp for the kids who have lost a parent. Jack, being older than Amelie, just thought of her as a little kid. Amelie had a crush on him. And what is it with that camera she always carries? Things happen that I cannot spoil here for you because this is a must read!! But as they happen, things between them change, they grow close, they separate, but as always, they are always in each others thoughts and hearts,

This is my first time reading anything written by Brittney King, but definitely will NOT be the last. After this, I will be searching out anything I can get. Great story and characters. Brittney King has a new fan here.

HASH(0x9593003c) out of 5 stars quick read that felt like a vacation! 8 July 2014

Somewhere With You by Britney King
4 out of 5 stars

Jack and Amelie meet at the age 10 and 8 when they are campers at Camp Hope; a camp for children who have lost a parent. They see each other at camp every summer for years and become friends, each other's fiercest champions, and eventually they become lovers.

Their love story continues as they go on with their lives. Jack is a successful business man and Amelie is a photographer that travels the world. They come together only to be torn apart time after time. As they keep tabs on each other, they break each other's hearts, and waste time with the wrong people. Will they ever get it right?

I liked this story and I liked the characters, although I will admit I liked Jack more than Amelie. He seemed more committed to their love than she did.

I would recommend this book. It was a quick read that felt like a short vacation.
