Michael Martchenko's illustrations ... are lively, simple and expressive. The characters practically jump off the page.

Thankfully I went to get a refund and they just credited my account and didn't request that I send in the product.
Now as for the actual story.. Ehh I found A Pempkin of Pepper and it is much better for the lesson. Something Good makes comments about junk food lowering your IQ which isn't true and is not a message I want to send to children. I do love that they use characters of color, I'm all about representation in children's books. However they portray the father as angry and temperamental which feeds into unhealthy stereotypes of hyper-masculinity and African American men. Don't recommend the story or this book because of the size.
