I adored the Something Great series and this spin-off is just as special as her other books.
Rachel, after a recent break up, decide to go on holiday with her best friend Stacey and to have some fun!
A beautiful place, amazing food and even better company, Rachel meets a hot surfer, Jax, and his brother, Hendrix.
What starts out as a fun fling becomes so much more when Rachel and Jax can't seem to stay away from each other, but distance and secrets are keeping them apart.
What is Jax hiding? What is Rachel afraid of?
What will happen when Rachel get a new start and Jax's secrets are revealed? Will they find a way to overcome everything that stand between them?
I fell in love with Jax and Rachel. Rachel is such a sweet and caring person. Jax is a very hot, arrongant man, but underneath all that you can see the real man, a caring, loving, tender one, who would do anything to get the woman he wants. The secret..wow..didn't expect it and I love even more how everything turns out, even the heartache, because something this amazing is hard to find and you have to fight for it!
Rachel has just broken up with her long-term, long-distance boyfriend. Seeing her sister and future brother-in-law together has made her realise that her own relationship was lacking. She jets off to Kauai with her bestie, Stacey, for a short break to relax and clear her mind.
The beautiful Jax catches her eye the first day there. He, in turn, very obviously desires her and works hard to win her over - something that he never normally needs to do.
At first, Rachel holds herself back, not wanting to get involved so soon after her break-up, plus Jax lives on the other side of the country and travels a lot for his mysterious job. However, their chemistry is irresistible and they share a passionate few days together. They part as friends, but both know that they are more invested in the other than they’ll admit. They keep in contact via text messages and one meeting in Paris, but an expected encounter breaks Rachel’s heart, as Jax’s secrets come to light. She needs to decide if she’s willing to accept him into her heart and life, once she truly knows who he is.
This was a fab story about instant connection and finding ‘The One’ who has the potential to truly break your heart, or make your life amazing. It had passion, misunderstandings, family values, and what you’re willing to accept to be with the one you love. I loved Rachel and Jax together!

I loved Rachel and Jax and I was really rooting for them during the whole book :) At times I was a little bit frustrated with Rachel as she was acting a little bit irresponsible and stubborn but in the end everything came into place :) I definitely liked that she has a strong character and goes after what she wants. Well, in most cases ;)
Jax on the other hand is quite delicious. He definitely has the body to die for and on top of that he is a real gentleman and romantic on top of that. He was definitely a treat to read about. I have to say that I liked him more than Rachel, and not just because he is pantie melting HOT :) He is quite level-headed and not that rushed into his decisions. Well, except the fact that he fell in love with Rachel for mere days. But apart from that, everything else he did was quite well thought through :)
As a whole I think that Rachel and Jax fit quite well together. Their story was quite interesting and there were definitely some twists that I didn't expect. Which, let's be honest, is always a good thing :) I quite enjoyed the style of writing and I will be for sure checking the rest of the books in this series :)
In a few words, I definitely recommend this book to all romance readers out there. I can guarantee that you won't be disappointed :)

A wonderful read Something Amazing by M Clarke tells the story of a holiday romance where 2 strangers meet and fall in love. Having not read M Clark before the blurb for this book intrigued me. A 4 star read I look forward to reading more of the Authors books.
'When 1 door closes another door opens' is the phrase that sprung to mind as I read this novel. For Rachel our lead it's especially true, having finished with her boyfriend she takes herself and the 'life' that had seemed to stagnate into a new direction, with a move to a new city and a brand new job. Holidaying with her bestie Stacie in the beautiful resort of Kauai is the true start and finish of Rachel's new and old 'lives'. Her new life begins when the Clarke brothers invade their vaycay. With Jax and his brother Hendrix sweeping Rachel and Stacey off their feet it becomes more than a holiday fling for both girls.
Holiday over Rachel and Jax part ways leaving Kauai behind them but their lives are about to meet in the real world too with Rachel's new job as a fashion photog putting her and Jax's on a collision course as she discovers he is top fashion model JC. But 'real life' Jax is more complicated than 'holiday' with a conniving ex and a cute little boy, I loved reading this story.
