Too often these days it seems the 1000 page 'literary' novel that gets the attention - and probably the cash. However what brought me into SF many years ago was the single, challenging idea, laid out in relatively few words, that left you musing over the implications for days or weeks.
This collection, albeit really just a sampler, took me back to these days. Loved it!!
There is a bunch of good stuff here to suit most tastes, and with it being free, you just can't go wrong. Let's face it, they've already made about £5-10 from me based on me buying more from the authors in here which I hadn't come across before, so it's a cracking business plan...!
