About the Author

"I like dysfunction. Broken people who can't fix each other, but fit together because they're missing the same pieces. One of my favourite songs declares, "take the sinner down to feed desire," and that's my MO. I write dirty psychological thrillers with strong elements of dark romance." LIME CRAVEN lives in England with her family. When not writing or reading, she can be found in a swimming pool (moving. Obviously) and is still upset about the passing of Michael Crichton.

I read ALOT so after reading the positive reviews on this book and how it was different, thought I would give it a try. It is different but I like books to have a realistic story but there were just too many implausible events and characters in this book that didn't make a pleasant read, I don't think I have ever read a book with so many deranged characters in it. Really needs reediting as there are a large number of errors contained still.

A dark read that will leave you tearing up the pages to engage in the mindset of the deliciously, cocky, arrogant and sexy Aeron Lore.
Lime has written a plot that is fast paced and she makes no apologies for the dark content of the characters she writes. I enjoyed every minute of this book.
We get to see why a sociopath is the way he is from his past to his present. His meeting with the beautiful Brit which is leontine Reeves has his world wavering and the darkness in him coming out to play. He's the devil incarnate and the chemistry between the two characters create a sexual chemisty that will leave you gasping.
I hope there's a book 2 waiting to be written because everyone needs more Aeron Lore and the possibilities are endless where this character could go.

I occasionally enjoy a dark romance and the sample was interesting so I thought I'd give this a try. However the main character was not appealing in the slightest. I did try and persevere but I could not read anymore. I think I made it to the 30% mark. Too dark for me.

Hmmmm I not sure about this book. Left a lot of answered questions, thankfully the second book is out already. It's story line is different, the charector's are quite complex, not sure what to make of them really. Worth a read, some grammar mistakes.

What the heck have I just read! Now I love a good dark, twisted romance but woohoo Lime takes it to another level I feel in Sociopath. Don’t expect one single rosy moment, or any sun rays to burst forth and bathe you in heady romance because crikey this is barbed wire romance done the Sociopath way.

Completely told by Aeron, this man gave me whiplash sometimes. I sometimes found his monologue hard to follow and if he had one fault there were too many words and too little action. But to say this this man is a twisted fukcer is an understatement. Boy, he's so messed up it's quite hard to get behind him and not want someone to stick a bullet in him but then when you read the flashbacks and what he's gone through, oh boy, oh boy. Within them is the answer to many questions about his state of mind. Some of his thoughts whilst he's dealing with people are priceless, punchy and eloquently put ☺ now those parts made for excellent reading. His cocky assuredness oozed off the pages, his lack of conscience always apparent and I can only say you have to read this book with a different perspective to normal. Things are going to happen that really don’t sit right with your conscience if you’re like me there are many times you are really not going to like Aeron.

Leo, well I am not 100% certain at to describe how I perceived Leo, I suppose the most apparent word floating in my mind is, complex. She’s very complex, I also struggled to get behind her at times, I wanted to call her out for going along with Aeron’s sociopathic ways. There was also a bit of an air of suspense hanging around her, and oh heck is all I am going to say, you can feel her getting sucked into Aeron’s personal space, even though you want to shout, don’t do it!

I’ve got to mention Tuija too.

I bought this book on the face of the title & book cover not really knowing how "dark" it would go....not bad at all. Fairly fast paced with decent characters. Not as grim as I expected - in fact quite tongue in cheek + funny in parts. Definitely worth a read.

It’s been described as a dark and gritty and full of suspense and a mind f&ck. I just didn’t feel that when I read it. Somewhere either this book has missed the mark for me or I just didn’t connect with what the author was trying to do.

I have read dark books, and I mean so dark that you want to puke because you don’t know what the f&ck is going to happen to anyone. The author has tried to make something creepy out of something probably a lot of consenting adults do! I can’t go into which bits I mean because I don’t want to be a spoiler moiler!!

I couldn’t connect with the females in this book, yeh I know I’m a male lol but I didn’t feel empathy or sympathy or even a slight bit of compassion for them. Aeron knew what he liked and what he wanted and yes I can see how he was meticulous with every aspect of his life yet I didn’t have any particular feelings towards him either.

This book didn’t really get going until 60% and by that time I was past trying to connect with the characters. There was too much detail about things that didn’t matter and then as the end of the book came close, everything got thrown in to give some kind of conclusion.

The flashbacks were well handled and I liked how the author tried to get us inside Aeron’s head but to be honest, by the time the story got started, I was beginning not to care!

I finished this book, partly because I hate not finishing a book and partly because I wanted to know where the author was going with it all. After getting to the end, I realise that I’d have been quite happy to have stopped reading halfway through.

Sorry, not enough dark, gritty or suspense for me.
