This book explains what social skill, what the book calls "social intelligence", is and how you can improve your own skills. It spells out how social skills are essential to good leadership and demonstrates how parents can teach these skills to their children, giving them a head start toward becoming successful adults.
And needless to say, if you improve your "social intelligence" you'll be more successful in both your career and your personal relationships. This book will give you the tools you need to make those goals a reality.
This is clearly a very-well researched discussion on a subject of great importance to anyone who finds themselves uncomfortable in social settings. At the very least, this work will give you something to focus on rather than your own anxiety, and I believe that the ability to navigate social scenarios comfortably is something that can be developed over time.
This book is also of use to people who feel comfortable in social settings as there are sure to be a few tricks that you'd never considered. Recommended.
I cannot recommend that anyone waste their time on this rubbish, unless you're an alien from the far side of the galaxy and need a written introduction on what it means to have people skills. Still, you'll have to look elsewhere if you're hoping to learn those skills
What readers are investing time and money in is a book on human psychology, basics, that we do not practice at all today, then it steps the game up a bit and evolves into something more, retaining its simplicity of style and easy flow of language.
I can easily see a book like this revolutionizing the society around us. Its groundbreaking, packed with information, easy to apply practical principles and simple life lessons about society and the social world around us that will not only force us to change our perspective but become the greatest versions of ourselves. Its literally life- transforming.
The great author, Jonny Bell, has done previous books very similiar yet "Social Intelligence" stands amongst his finest literary works.
