Product description

Arriving in a Yorkshire village to investigate the death of an eldery, church-going man, DS Mark Pemberton can think of only one word when he sees the crime scene - execution. But why should someone want to go to such lengths to dispose of a seemingly harmless old man?

About the Author

Nicholas Rhea is the pseudonym of Peter N. Walker, who served for 30 years in the North Yorkshire police, ultimately as an inspector. He retired from the force in 1982 to concentrate on his writing.
