I found this one hard to get into and put it down a couple of times because I couldn't really get into it.
The ending is brilliant and I've just downloaded the second one.
Not sure why I struggled, I think I wasn't sure if I liked Sebastian or not!
I know now...

This was a fantastic book for everyone who loves dark & twisted stories! I'm unsure whether I liked Sebastian. He was just so nasty, but at the same time so sexy! I really felt for Lillith. She is one brave, feisty woman. I really, really hope the good guys win & the bad guys get their comeuppance! Off to read the next book!

I would recommend that you read the prequel, Seek before you read Snare. If you don't read the Prequel first then you are going to be confused as to what's happening. You maybe able to work out what's happening without it, but in my opinion, it's easier just to buy the prequel and understand it, rather than guess.
I knew after reading the prequel that we was going to be in for one massive messed up ride with Snare. I couldn't wait to receive it and start reading.
This is a dark story, but not your typical dark story. This story will take you places that no dark read before has, so be prepared. It's defintly not for the faint hearted. Clarissa Wild defintly knows how to write a story that will keep you guessing all the way through, keep you wanting more and completly messes with your mind.
In this part of the book we do sort of find out who Sebastian is and also Lillith (don't expect to find out everything) but we do her a little insight about them individually and together. There is still so much still missing from the story though that we are not told, don't expect to finish the book and feel you know everything or even nearly everything, because you don't. I was left will still loads of questions that I desperatly want answers too.
The whole story was full of twists and turns throughout. I love that this book is very dark, and like nothing like I have ever read.
Clarissa Wild is a amazing author. I feel like she was giving us a taster of what she could produce with "Mr X" just to warm us up for this series. The characters that she has produced and the way she has wrote about them is mind blowing. Clarissa has wrote the book that will pull you in and not let you go.

When I first started reading this book I was like wtf, it didn't ease you into it, it's like from the first page the reader is thrown head first straight into the story and you don't get to let go even as comprehension dawns till the last word is read. Oh boy what a trip and because I didn't get all my questions answered I'm off to read the next chapter. Get it read it and lose oneself for a little time

Ok I got to 27% and had to stop. I tried to get into this as had some great reviews but omg what is this? Some woman from a mental hospital who escapes and go after some imaginary man. At first he pretends he doesn't know her. She then has sex with him and then he tells her to get lost??? All very weird. I skimmed most of it. Can't be bothered to waste anymore of my evening trying to get into a book that I obviously am not interested in. Probably won't be reading anymore from this author as I don't like her style. Sorry to be harsh, but not for me

Where to start….. This book had me completely consumed to the point where I couldn’t put it down. Snare gives you some answers, but it also opens you up to more questions. Pieces of the Lillith and Sebastian puzzle start to fit together leaving you needing to know it all.

Snare kicks off where Seek ends, we following Lillith and Sebastian’s story and this time it is in dual POV, which gives you a major insight to all that is Sebastian Brand. We find out more about him and what it is that he does, we see his dark side and also the softer side that he only seems to bring around Lillith. We get to read more about Lillth and what happened to her and how she’s still trying to fight between what she thinks is real and what is in her mind.

We also see the struggle they both face between pain and pleasure, fear and love, and the feelings that are developing. “There’s something about us being close that makes everything volatile-on the verge of exploding. It scares me s*tless, but at the same time draws me in like a magnet.”

Lillith spends her time being a prisoner to Sebastian, but what starts as being held captive soon turns into her becoming a willing captive. She is slowly finding her way back to the demons that haunt her, Sebastian is breaking her walls and making her face the past that hurts her. She soon discovers how she got herself in the situation that she is in, and she also finds out the danger that is hiding in the shadows. Is the person that you trust, really to be trusted? Or will they lead you further into the darkness? “Trusting Sebastian Brand was the biggest mistake I ever made.”

Sebastian is fighting his own demons, but he wants Lillith to survive, he wants her to break and then repair.
