Product description

Review

Smith and Wood's Employment Law (Smith and Backer) now in its 11th edition, is one of the grandes dames of employment law textbooks: stately in format, traditional in style and content. It is none the worse for this; it remains an impressive text, with a place at the centre of any employment law teaching at undergraduate or postgraduate.

About the Author

Ian Smith is a Barrister and former Clifford Chance Professor of Employment Law at the University of East Anglia. He is also an editor of the practitioner text, Harvey on Industrial Relations and Employment Law. Aaron Baker is Reader in Law at Durham University and Deputy Head of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Health. Aaron also has experience practising in employment law.
