More importantly, I tested it to destruction on Wednesday in a fall that resulted in me being airlifted to hospital, where the medics seemed surprised I wasn't more badly hurt.
The helmet didn't survive, but I did, with only mild concussion from which I'm now recovering.
Excellent product - highly recommended.
In regards to the helmet itself. Comfortable fit and the BOA Fit System doesn't just tighten the back of the helmet (like many) it tightens a halo-type nylon (I think) line that runs through the inner lining part of the helmet. This results in a very close and comfortable fit, however, as a previous reviewer noted the BOA system uses a dial to tighten/loosen that can rub against the collar of a jacket and unintentionally loosen the helmet (not good). It hasn't been a major problem for me and just making some small adjustments after it's on has all but eliminated it.
The liner is removable though attached with velcro, don't just yank it out or you'll pull the velcro off the helmet interior. Again not a huge problem.
The vent system is good with the ability to open the front vents and rear vents independently of each other. Not the easiest thing to do accurately with ski gloves on but not impossible. The goggle strap isn't a popper but an elastic loop with a leather-like material tab that slips over a plastic hook, I has some misgivings about the plastic hook snapping but after multiple ski trips......and more falls than I like to admit.....its intact and never been a problem.
I've never used any audio system with this helmet and never intend to so I won't comment on it.
Is this helmet perfect? No, it isn't, but it is very good and so far has served me very well.
