I'm just about to play with this myself to see exactly why the kids love it so much. An amazing quality product which can be extended for additional learning. Times tables can seriously be so boring but this is quality.

A little fiddley taking and putting cubes back, but good for practicing timestable. Was expecting a proper abacus but its its just a tray of cubes. Very fast deliveryA****

Great little product for teaching young ones basic maths. I would like one that goes up to 12x12 but this is good to start off with.
Unfortunately the cubes are very small and very susceptible to disappearing out of the base, I've lost count of the amount of times I've had to crawl under the bed to hunt down a missing cube.
I would recommend it as a teaching aid but it's something that needs supervision to ensure the small pieces don't go walkabout.

compared to some other purchases, of what turned about to be useless bits of plastic (dienes blocks and those stick things beginning with C) these have really engaged my five year old.

Bought for our 6 year old who is getting to grips with his times tables.
He loves it and enables him to work independently.
Only goes to 9 x tables though.

This is a well made, wooden tool for teaching kids the times tables - simply turn the cube containing the multiplicand and multiplier to get the product. But surprisingly, there are only 81 cubes as despite the fact that we use a decimal number system the ten tables have been omitted. I do understand that the ten tables are easy to learn, but for completeness sake they should have been there. This is the only reason why this product doesn't get 5 stars.
