I personally can't recommend this product enough, I bought a set of these about five years ago due to frequent flat tyres. Bare in mind at the time and until recently I was riding everywhere, My mountain bike being my primary transport) and was averaging a couple of hundred miles a week from work to college and out for fun and I can say that in that time I only remember getting one puncture at the rear wheel. But amusingly not because of this product but where a thin nail had traveled about an inch into my tyre (for who knows how long) and managed to circumnavigate around the liner into the inner tube (creating a long walk home). I used to ride serious off road and through the dirty London roads through rain and shine and still to this day love this product, to the point that I'm currently installing them in my two young nephew's bikes to save wasting time and money on puncture repair kits and new inner tubes.

My mates gave me a pair of these as they were constantly getting punctures from using them. I thought "oh it must be the way they installed them" so i gave em a go.
Fitted them very carefully, looked up top tips and suggestions on the internet and hoped for the best.
Two days later i'd had three punctures, two in the back and one in the front.
They sort of nip the innertube after a while and cause it to split...no matter how carefully you fit them.
    Plus they're not cheap!
Save yourself a lot of time and money.Don't buy em'.
    Cheers

I bought these out of desperation, I didn't like the slime liquid for inner tubes cause of poor performance with punctures. So I decided on these as they were cheaper than buying new outer tyres impregnanted with kevlar £30 each. They worked for a few weeks but I have had loads of punctures with them. They cut into my inner tube and when you look at the hole there is a line where the slime has rubbed on them. Really pissed off I can tell you. I'm sure it is positional as my front tyre hasn't had this problem. Another problem with the slime is the overlap, I have 26" tyres and the overlap is like 8". This caused a thud everytime the overlap rotated around. The extra weight of this overlap really interferes with your speed and road resistance. Anyway I cut the overlap to 2cm and it was better but still noticeable. So I advise you to get kevlar tyres especially if like me you do 16 miles plus a day cycling to work and back.

I bought these from Halfords, fitted them properly and got three punctures over one 20 mile ride! They shift around in the tyre and cause abrasions to the tube. They may prevent thorns getting to the tube but they've ruined two new tubes.
