I have been meaning to read this book for so long and life just kept getting in the way today I finally sat down and opened the book and before I knew what had happened the day had passed as I read word after word with out stopping. I love this book it's made me laugh so many times and I wish I could find my own Rusty we all need a man like that in our lives

This book was one of T Gepharts best I thought Joey's story was my favourite but this is running a close second. Loved rusty and though things moved a bit quick was still realistic. I actually laughed out loud when he came home to find Ali high. Can't wait for the next instalment hopefully Mac's story.

I have to confess that I got hooked up to T Gephart's books only recently after meeting her few times at signings. But once I started reading, I simply got addicted and for the last couple of months, I've read everything she ever published. So, of course, once I found out she is going to write a new series about Black Addiction, I was simply ecstatic. And I can honestly say that this was an amazing read. It was a little bit more light-hearted than her other books but the characters still have their heartaches and problems. The only thing missing is the suspense which she has in most of her books. That doesn't mean that the book is lacking though. On the contrary. It was actually quite cool to read a simple love story with quite a few notes of humor and with incredible romantic leads.

Rusty and Alison are quite interesting characters and they meet like two normal people in a bar. Things don't exactly click from the first meeting but with time passing their chemistry just grows more explosive. And I loved the scene with their second official meeting :) It reminded me of that really cool scene from Crazy Stupid Love with Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling. You probably know which one I am talking about, but just so there are no misunderstandings. It's the one where Emma enters the bar, walks to Ryan and pretty much gives him the hottest kiss ever. And the whole evening after that (with the photoshop line and all that). So yes, few scenes in the book actually remind me quite a lot of the movie. But I still loved because even though it sounds familiar, it is still different.

So be prepared. Rusty is one hot dude and he can melt your panties with a single look.

Loved this book! Even though it's not your typical rockstar book had all the ingredients I needed! I love how this author writes and read loads of her books and will most def continue in the future!! The male protagonist Rusty is ur typical rockstar bedding all the women he can bt what isn't usual is the fact he is a genuinely nice guy!! Enter Allison who has a whole world of problems that just keep getting worse! Their relationship starts as teacher a pupil bt leads to more interesting encounters! I loved the easy banter in this book, was a really enjoyable read! Would def recommend! Xx

This was a really wonderful, light read with a lovely story flow and perfect characters. A truly fantastic beginning to this series!
Alison has been alone for many years and lonely for even more. Her mother was far from a proper mother figure, and her grandparents took care of her whilst growing up. Her relationship with Rob takes a total 360 turn and leaves her with no self worth and even more lonely that she doubts herself in every way possible... Until she meets her 'crush' Rusty!!!
Rusty is the guitarist in an up and coming band Black Addicition. He sees positivity in pretty much every thing in life. With his gorgeous looks and sexy body, he can have his pick of any woman he wants. For a reason unknown to him, he wants Alison and he wants 'more' than just sex, he wants her in his future!!!
The story follows the journey of how Rusty brings Alison 'back to life' he shows her that she is worth more, and is better than how gets treated. Its an emotional ride and really is a caterpillar to butterfly story and with a twist that shocks the socks off, what will happen what the secret comes out? Will Alison be able to get herself together? Can Rusty prove his love before its too late? Will they get their HEA? Or will circumstances keep them apart?

It’s no secret how much I love Tina’s writing and Slide went above and beyond any and all expectations I had, I was well and truly blown out of the water! Although the Black Addiction series is separate from the Power Station series I definitely recommend reading it as well, after all you can never have too much amazing and it’ll give you a better understanding of Angie, Black Addiction’s front woman

I didn’t really know what to expect from Rusty but WOW, I seriously love that man, he’s all kinds of awesome! I expected him to have an arrogant side and he does to a point but I never thought in a million years that he’d be as sweet and adorable as he is. Alison is quite frankly having the worst luck when she meets Rusty, her world was being well and truly turned upside down so it’s no surprise that she’s a bit insecure and a little crazy at times. She is just so quirky and different and I adore that about her, it’s one of the things that I love about all of Tina’s characters actually... They are all super unique even if they have the same job they are each their own person and have personalities to match. Rusty and Alison are perfect for each other, don’t get me wrong they really shouldn’t work... On paper they don’t work, but they just click and their differences are actually what make them a stronger couple and help them get through the rough patches. Slide was a journey for Alison and Rusty... They found each other and they grew together, discovering new versions of themselves along the way.

Slide is full of twists and turns and when I wasn’t gasping in surprise I was laughing, the many revelations kept me on my toes. I cannot wait for the next book in the Black Addiction series! Another epic start to what I’m sure will be a PHENOMENAL series!!! Thank you for sharing another dose of epic with the world Tina ;) <3
