PART OF BRITISH AIRWAYS ON BOARD OFFERINGS to help babies sleep: REVIEW: .... AMAZING! .... Melisa London: Samuel was born four and a half weeks premature..... I did not think for one minute that when leaving hospital Samuel would become nocturnal. For the first couple of weeks at home Samuel would not settle to sleep until the early hours of the morning leaving my partner and I both incredibly tired so I knew I had to try something to help settle him. When I put the CD on it took him about 30 seconds to recognise the sounds and then his body just relaxed. I now use this CD every night and I also put it on during his night feeds...... Thank you..... A MUST FOR ALL PARENTS.....

One thing to be aware of is that for the first few nights it actually seems to be counter-productive - babies naturally pay attention to novel sounds. However, because it’s so repetitive, our baby very quickly learned to ignore it. After a few days I was surprised to see that she adopted a much calmer mood as soon as the music was turned on. Sadly, it did not actually send her off to sleep, but the calming effect was very real and very welcome.
If you’re tearing your hair out with a baby that just will not sleep, you should certainly give this CD a look.
It may not be the miracle-worker I was hoping for, but I will certainly be keeping it as part of the bedtime routine.
Have heard several other Mums say its worth getting.

It works but runs for 50mins. Would have been better if it was longer as our cd player doesn't have the loop function.Published 17 months ago by DStavr
