1st one didn't work and had to send it back but very easy to return and replacement arrived day I posted it back! New one works fine and is right size for my 5 yr old who is mad on skylanders but batteries don't last anywhere near as long as other remotes. He gets about 2 days play and that's only 2-3 hrs out of a pair of dura cells! Worth investing in rechargeable batteries I think

I purchased one pack for my sons xmas present. I was hoping for the yellow/orange pack (as orange is my sons fave colour) but unfortunately couldn't choose the colour choice as it is done randomly. I was lucky and the orange pack arrived! I think this is a great gift for all young Skylanders fans.

These are great for small hands and nicely characterised for Skylanders, but it would be nice if you could choose the colours. I wanted 2, but had no way of choosing one of each, which was what I wanted, and they both came in as yellow. It's ok, but not perfect.

Couldnt wait for this item to arrive for my son, we saw this when purchasing other skylanders products (we also brought 3 characters) and thought we needed new remotes for the wii, we waited in anticipation as to find out which colour we would receive as we already have the xbox 360 skylanders remote in orange and was hoping to match it with the orange wii remote (which we received ), now going to have a very happy 9yr old son, would gladly recommend this for any skylanders /skylanders giants fans as its just excellent

The other reveiws concerning the lack of color choice are correct. Though this is not my biggest problem as my son doesn't know there was a choice and was therefore REALLY excited to get the one given to him. However, this turned out to be a bid disappointment as the remote doesn't work. I have tried several times on several different games, removed and replace batteries, cleaned the eye and still no luck. Now I have to go through the many bags of discarded gift wrap in order to find the original packaging... as my kids immediately threw this out. My son is quite sad.

Things to remember!

1 It is a mini so won't fit a steering wheel.
2 batteries do run out like any other product that uses batteries.
3 it does not come with motion plus(it says this in description).
4 did not get a choice in the colour but who cares at this price?
