      Having previously owned Sennheisers I was expecting these to be slightly inferior, however I was plesently surprised. They are excellent at blocking out outside noise when music is playing so plently of saying 'what' when someone tries to talk to you. The most impressive thing about the earphones is their volume. I have my iPod touch volume control almost at the very bottom with these earphones and the music is plenty loud. I was surprised at first but it means there is plenty room for making the music louder. The sound quality is definately satisfactory and make listening to music more enjoyable. As with all earphones of this style there is slight noise when fiddling with the cable when they are in your ears which is just due to friction but as this is a slight problem with all in-ear earphones I cannot lower my overall feedback for these earphones. For the price they are certainly a steal and the skullcandy brand is well known amongst music lovers so there is no shame in wearing these around and about. They come in quite a few colours and there are smaller earbuds within the packaging itself for people with smaller ears. They also come with a tidy, handy carry case to wrap the earphones inside when you aren't using them which is sure to preserve their working life a little longer. Overall I am very pleased with these earphones and they are a clear example of not having to pay a huge amount for some decent, well rounded earphones.

      I bought these headphones despite reading a lot of negative reviews. You have to take into consideration that for the price people buying these just want some decent headphones that give decent sound. If you're a proper audiophile then you're not going to be spending under 20quid!!

      The sound is great, listened to all types of music from classical to drum and bass and it handles it well. I use these with my iPhone 3GS and the microhphone works great and people can hear me really clearly. The microphone has one button which has many features. It can be pressed once to answer an incoming call or hang up after the call is done. When the phone is idol one press starts the mp3 player and another then pauses it. If you double press then it skips to the next track, if you triple press then it goes back to the previous track. If you hold down the button then the voice activation starts.

      The headphones feel very well made and they also come with a protective pouch, which is good because i was always shoving my old headphones in my bag and they got ruined.

      If you want a good sound producing earphones with a mic for your iPhone then I would recommend getting these while they're cheap!

      The earphones itself are a very good quality! The sounds is great and they look really nice! However the end on my earphones where the wire is connected to the cable is loose and I'm afraid it might break soon and I've only had them for about 2 months. I have only used the case a few times though so from now I'm going to use that and it you get these make sure to always put them back in the case!!

      I have had 4 pairs of these amazing skull candy headphones - due to me either losing them or breaking them- and I always come straight to Amazon to buy them again. They are great value for money and give you an excellent and rounded in ear sound. With headphones that are on the cheaper end of the market they often have a lot of volume and treble, which some people may like- but I prefer a more flavoursome, rich and colourful sound, which these headphones have in bucketloads. As well as being technically great, they are also very comfortable and come with extra ear buds and a carrying case which for me is essential as it keeps them clean and the wires unable to get tangled with my keys and other things in my bag. Buy buy buy-you won't regret it

      Arrived in the post this morning. Just unpacked and auditioned. Early impressions are so far positive but a few (personal) niggles.

      First the good bits;
      1) Superfast delivery from iZilla - order to door within 24 hours. Very happy with that
      2) Metal construction of the buds seems very well executed
      3) Very impressive sound out of the box - currently giving them a few hours 'run in' time but breadth of performance and output so far exceeds my previous buds by some margin
      4) Nice case for storage
      5) Comfortable to wear - haven't tried sleeping in them yet but it would be a bonus if I could do that
      6) Excellent value at 9.95 GBP paid (inc. postage)!.

      Not so good(?);
      1) Item picture showed anti-tangle braided cables - which was what I really wanted. Item had rubberised TPE coating - apparently this change appeared in the 2012 version of the Titans. It looks cheaper and, I suspect, won't be as durable. Time will tell!
      2) Even the largest size silicone bud tip isn't as good a seal as that from my old buds. Strange that. I have pretty normal size ears and never had an issue with any other makes of buds in the past.

      Overall, maybe my 3 Star score is a bit harsh - especially for the bargain price paid. However, braided cables was one of my main reasons for ordering these. Hence, I feel somewhat 'short changed'. Slightly iffy fit is somewhat bizarre - it could be rectified by buying new bud tips but I shouldn't need to do that.

      I'm pleasantly surprised by the audio performance of these earbuds. I thought they might be a case of style over substance but that certainly isn't the case. I will be keeping them as the cost/effort to return them simply isn't worth it - and I genuinely do like them. If you're in the market for a cost effective pair of decent sounding earbuds your could certainly do far worse than these.

      Edit 02/08/14:

      Just increased my rating on these from 3 to 4 stars. Why? Well I've had mine for a year and use them for hours every day. No durability or reliability issues at all. TPE cables seem to be perfectly durable so far. The sound quality has also got better and better with use.

      I have since bought 2 more pairs - a backup pair for myself and a pair as a present. All doing great service. The sound quality does vary slightly between sets though. Not by much but it is noticeable.

      Overall, I'm absolutely delighted with my Titans. Even the lack of anti-tangle cable isn't much of an issue, as there is a little plastic slider that allows you to tether the buds together for storage. It works a treat!

      If these were still the same price as when I'd bought them they'd definitely be worth the full 5 stars. Sadly, they've gone up a fair bit...

      Let me start off by saying I am an avid music lover and listen to headphones during a 2 hour each way commute as well as while biking and when at the gym. I've road tested many different types of headphones over the past 5 years and excluding a pair of high end over the ear cans my Skullcandy ear buds surpass everything else. I was looking to upgrade a pair INK'd buds that I've had for a few years now and went out and ordered 5 other buds before reverting back to Skullcandy and picking up these Titans. I wasted way too much $ on round trip shipping and trips to the store for purchases and returns in the hopes of finding a better headphone. I should have just stuck with them from the beginning since I really like my INK'd which still work perfectly BTW. I just figured with technology as it advances I should be able to find something better at a reasonable price, I was wrong.

      A few immediately noticeable PRO's with these that were huge turn offs with other brands I've recently purchased.

      1. No cable noise, every other pair has rubber coated or plastic cables that when they would make contact with my bag shoulder strap or just smack against my chest while walking made a loud thud noise. This was very annoying especially considering I walk a lot the thud over powered the music I was trying to listen to. The braided cable cord on the Titan does not thud, even while running. Huge PRO for me.

      2. Ever listen to ear buds while mountain biking or just while standing outside in the wind and get that horrible whistling sound? Well that's nonexistent with these, the little port hole is perfectly located in-between the back of the bud and the actual cable. This positioning makes it nearly impossible to catch wind causing that very loud irritating whistle sound. I don't know if this was an intentional design feature to prevent this, I haven't read about it on their website, however they should definitely make note of it when describing features/benefits of their product.

      3. The braided wire is such a nice touch, it's not only visibly appealing ( I purchased white), but very functional as well. It doesn't tangle like many other cables will and more importantly to me it rubs freely over my bag's shoulder strap without catching onto it and pulling the buds out of my ears.

      While you may find others buds with excellent sound I doubt you will find ones with this sound quality in this price range. During my testing I've purchased ear buds as high as $189 and none sounded better. There were a few that had similar sound, but not throughout the full range of sound and they were more than 3 times the cost also without the benefit of a lifetime warranty. I won't get into specific details about the other brands and what specifically I didn't like about them but I tried Dre Beats, SOUL by Ludacris, Klipsch IMAGE S4, J.Fi Acoustic & Monster Turbine. Like I said not all sounded horrible compared to the Titan but in combination with everything IMO the Titans were hands down the best. Regardless of the type of music you listen to you will be pleased with these buds, they handle the lows omitted from R&B and Hip-Hop, the mids/highs sounds really crisp and clear listening to many acoustic tracks and alternative bands and you'd be blown away listening to pure vocalists, the clarity is really unbelievable in general but even more so at this price range.

      A few side notes if you will, although not required these will benefit from a break-in period. I generally break-in any headphone (speakers in general) with an old iPod that's loaded with a mix of different types of music and let it run at about 25% volume for 2-4 hours then increase the volume at intervals till its near 80% of max. I'll let it play at 80% for a good 8-10 hours before dropping the volume back to 15-20% for another 2+ hours. Believe me the sound is much more clear and you should almost immediately notice a difference from listening to them right out of the package.

      The only complaint I have and this is not specific to Skullcandy nor the Titan specifically as it was the case with every ear bud I recently tested, the silicon tips suck in a major way. My ear seems to be just in-between the medium and large tips, the large hurts my ear after just a few minutes of use and I am continuously adjusting the mediums to keep them in place. A good investment for anyone who wears ear buds is Comply Foam tips, the T-400 will fit I believe any Skullcandy bud so will the S-400 if you are looking to spend less than $10 or want an array of colors.

      Ich habe früher mal SkullCandy Kopfhörer gehabt und war damals enttäuscht weil das Kabel so schnell gebrochen ist und mich seitdem auch nicht mehr getraut welche zu kaufen. Da nun aber letztens meine alten kaputt gegangen sind dachte ich, es wäre an der Zeit der Marke noch einmal eine Chance zu geben.

      Enttäuscht wurde ich wie auch damals nicht. Der Ton ist super! Bässe kommen toll raus und vom Klang her gibt es wie immer nichts zu beanstanden.
      Ich bin mal gespannt wie lang es dauert bis das Kabel wieder kaputt geht. Hoffe diesmal länger als damals.
      Für den Preis gibt es aber glaube ich kaum bessere In-Ear Kopfhörer die so ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis bieten!

      Diese In-Ear Kopfhörer von Skullcandy haben ein Metallgehäuse, sind gut verarbeitet und trotzdem leicht und angenehm zu tragen. Durch die auswechelsbaren Silikon-Aufsätze in verschiedenen Größen lässt er sich nahezu jeder Ohrform anpassen und sitzt stabil ohne zu drücken. Auch der Klang überzeugt. Er betont zwar in erster Linie die Tiefen, aber bringt auch ordendliche Mitten und klare Höhen. Ein netter Nebeneffekt ist die Abschirmung von Umgebungsgeräuschen. Hilft auch am Arbeitsplatzt gegen nervige Kollegen und störendes Telefon-Klingeln. Nicht unbedingt der günstigste In-Ear Hörer, aber man bekommt durchaus Gegenleistung für sein sauer Verdientes.
