I didn't buy these on Amazon. I bought them at a local Skechers outlet store and I am extremely glad that I did. These boots are great. They were exactly what I was looking for. I work in a field that requires work boots but I hate dealing with laces and eyelets. I prefer a slip on boot. These come with Skechers' memory foam inserts and they feel great, no issues with the quality or comfort of the boots.
I wear a 10.5 in every piece of footwear that I own, running shoes, dress shoes, boots, slippers, flip-flops...all of it.
I bought these locally because I was concerned some reviews had mentioned that they're a little big. My intention was to try them out in the store and then buy them off Amazon. Once in the store, my local outlet, was running a buy 1 get one half off so I decided to purchase in the store.
Here's the kicker: A size 9 fits me perfectly.
I started with a 10.5, then a 10, then a 9.5, then finally a 9. All were too loose until I got to the 9. I was surprised, to say the least. All of my other footwear is 10.5 and fits snug, maybe a half inch from my big toe to the tip of the shoe. That's exactly how the 9's fit (bought two pair).
I thought maybe I got a misprint but both pair are 9's and both fit the same.
***Be advised if you purchase these, they're great, but in my experience they're 1.5 sizes too big. Unless I got some weird fluke, they're all like that.
Those with wide feet, EE or EEE, will likely be very pleased with the fit of this product. Like every Skechers shoe I've ever owned, this boot is very well made, with very good material. And may I say again, the comfort is outstanding!
These are great, I wear a 12 and these in 12's were fine for me, extremely comfortable, LOOK GOOD too. Only 1 thing I did not like- they just didn't hold up as long as I wanted them to or thought they should. It's not like they're really ripped all up, torn anywhere, no holes anywhere, isn't opened all over the place, it's just that they're so worn out, so to speak. So worn that i'm buying a new pair today. I've looked around, havent found anything I want to try yet. I'll prob end up getting these again but just with the knowledge that I need to buy these every 9-12 months if I stay with these. I'm really not THAT hard on my shoes. I'm 51 yo. 6', 170lbs. But i guess I'm "sort of" hard on them? Apparently so. I just remember buying boots similar to these when younger and they last 5+ years! Just about always, no matter what brand as long as they were not the lowest cost ones on the market back then. But they certainly weren't the most expensive either, by far(cuz i aint rich!, haha).
As far as "slip ons" go, these are my 1st pair like that so I was lil concerned. But I'm glad I got them in that type. It's not a problem whatsoever. You end getting used to them and when you do have to tie a pair of shoes, you wish those were slip ons! I NEVER thought I'd like any slip on type of shoe/boot. Was concerned that I couldn't control how loose/tight they would be. But, with these anyway, not a problem. I prefer not using strings now! Weird. If on fence about "slipons", you dont need to be. With these anyway. GL!
