Will is a successful publicist. He has worked really hard over the past six years to get to where he is now. These six years came with a price though. He is intent of putting things right over and above his own happiness. Besides, he is happy making up for loss time.
Holly is an ambitious young lady who is set on becoming partner in Trousseau, the company she works for. To avoid distractions, she has a six months rule. She doesn’t do longterm relationships as the six months is like a honeymoon period and once this feeling wears off, she just moves on and "Bob is your uncle".
Will is assigned to work with Trousseau as their publicist on this big contract. To do this, he has to travel back and forth between London and California. His home is in London where he would much rather spend his time with someone very precious to him. He has a plan! Complete this six months assignment, then take time out to make his wish come true. He starts on the wrong foot on the first time he meets Holly with some comments she doesn't like. He then finds out that he has to work very closely with Holly who is in charge for this project. Oops!
Holly is quite taken by Will. She likes everything about him. His English accent, his broody self, his looks and sex appeal. Will quite likes her too. Holly decides to approach him with a proposition. Why not suggest the six months rules which is the duration of the project. He agrees but as they get to know each other, they find that their relationship is not so casual after all. There is more to them that meets the eyes. Will Holly break her own rules? Can Will divide his time between Holly and his life in London?
I like the way Holly consults her stars on a regular basis even though she says that she doesn't really believe. Right! Will is a real sweetie. He is passionate about his personal and professional life. They make such a nice couple. I absolutely love the chemistry between Will and Holly. The storyline is unique, compelling and captivating.

I loved both characters and also Will’s daughter…she was a wonderful addition to the story. I learned so much about Will and Holly through interactions with them; she made me love them even more! I love strong, female characters whose defining characteristic is their physical beauty. Holly was beautiful, but she was also intelligent and ambitious. Who wouldn’t love Will, the sexy Brit? But, again, he wasn’t the typical man who slept with everything in a dress. He was gorgeous, but his heart was what made him irresistible to me. He loved his daughter and made his decisions based on his relationship with her. The romance was the perfect balance of sweet and sexy! I also loved the addition of astrology throughout the book. It really added to it. Will and Holly are a couple you really want to wake up and realize what they have in one another.
I have been a fan of A.J. Pine since I read One Night, and she broke my heart, yet she beautifully put it back together. These two books are so different, yet they are each wonderful! You know a writer is immensely talented when she can write two so very different books, but they are each equally good, and Pine does just that. She has and continues to be one of my favorite writers who keeps me coming back for more because of her stories and characters!
