It would be great to get also a "projects book" based on the items provided but all kits I've seen offering it are more expensive. All components are working properly so far (although I'd say the green LEDs provided are actually blue :-) but.... not big deal at all). I am following a book called "Beginning Arduino" by Michael McRoberts which I totally recommend for beginner (and no so much). For the first projects you will be using just resistors, LEDs and potentiometer, and later on servos and motors, so if you make a list of all components needed, this kit will let you to start while you are acquiring the rest of components.
Veredict: I recommend this kit.

This is an excellent value stater kit with a good selection of sensors and devices.

Everything you need with including two breadboards, jumpers, proto-board and of course the UNO.

This kit also gives you access to an extensive set of documentation and hassle free support which can be a real bonus for the beginner.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy from Sintron again.

Overall I am happy with this purchase, it was to give me a good base to begin on building my coding and electronic systems knowledge. My kit came in a very good storage box which I didn't realise so that was a bonus. The components are generally good quality although the battery I received was completely dead, and the larger of the two breadboard was, to be honest, rubbish. I will most probably shop with Sintron again in the near future. It's worth to note that the kit doesn't have any sort of instructions/projects so you may want to look into that.

Extremely impressed with this product. I have a very basic knowledge of electronics but am completely new to programming, and I bought this kit as a bit of motivation to be able to put what I was learning into practice. The main selling point for this kit was the range of equipment and low price. I was pleasantly surprised to find everything in the box and all intact and functional (this is not always the case when buying electronic components online). The pins are soldered to components for you (so no soldering necessary) and I was able to hook up a few simple projects straight out of the box. After messaging the seller, I was provided with more literature on the Arduino than I am likely ever to read in my life. There are no instructions in the box and this seems to be an issue for some, but the seller was quick to send a link with a range of books in pdf format and I had no problems accessing these.

If you are new to Arduino, like me, I would definitely recommend this kit. I have since ordered additional parts so that I can make a variety of exciting projects. I would say that the programming is harder than the practical element but there are many diagrams and sketches (programs) to follow in the pdf files provided, as well as information on creating your own. Great value kit for a teen or big kid who is interested in electronics and programming!

This is a good kit, but no instructions in the pack and components not labelled. I'm a beginner to Arduino and electronics so not sure what all of the bits do, labelling and a basic instruction book would really help with this. There is plenty of stuff on the web so not a major problem, close but no five stars!

I bought this as I thought it would be an awesome deal, however; I had no option but to return it soon after the order was delivered. A couple of pro's, you get a lot of staff in it, such as the dev board add on etc which is great however that is all.

The quality of these products are quite low and built to a budget. The Arduino itself is a replica and again built to a budget. In this you get a sort of starter guide book too, which is brief and left me wondering if i was doing things correctly.

I ended up sending it back and getting the official arduino kit here http://amzn.to/1dU8ILL

It has all the stuff you need to build 15 projects, it also explains clearly what the project is, what the components do, the coding and most importantly, what the code is actually doing. You pay a little more, but as with everything you get exactly what you pay for.

The kit works well, although the quality is not great. Its a lot of stuff squeezed into a small box (6"x7"). A good starter, although the documentation is either out of date or just plain incorrect.

You get a lot of kit for your money. How you go about connecting it is pretty much up to you as there are no instructions (for me that wasn't necessary). Still, you can always use the web to find these things out and that can only add to the fun.

I say that because if step by step instructions were provided you wouldn't learn half as much as you would researching things for yourself.

Good value kit.
