I love this album. It resides in my car CD player and I never tire of it. Bodies is my standard ring tone on my mobile and I do get some funny looks if it goes off in public. The only thing is, when that track comes on in the car I nearly always think it's my phone going! All the tracks are brilliant and I love them all but Tear Away just pips it for me. My 28 year old son and I went to Stonehenge for the Summer Solstice and we were both singing away on the journey. It just shows that their music (and lyrics) touch many different people.

I am just going to buy another copy as mine is starting to show signs of wear and tear. Who said CDs are indestructible. :-)

This is one my favourite albums and I've hardly stopped playing it since I bought it! Would definitely recommend if you like 'heavy rock' / 'alternative metal' music. The CD it's self arrived in perfect condition in good time :)

Straight into Opener 'Sinner' and it does not take long figure out what these guys are all about, ballbreaking badass groove metal texas style with anger and catchy ass melodies. The standout artist on Sinner for me has to be guitarist C.J. pierce, yes Dave Williams brings the heat fire and passion with presence, honesty brutality and conviction slaying each hook down our throats and through our butts, but C.J.s blisteringly sparse slick flashy groovy and down n dirty guitar riffs make each song on Sinner instsntly recognisable. The riffs are melodic but hard rocking when the chrouses hit, nasty but cool! C.J. is evidently a confident and very expressive player, showing off his effect pedals and sonic guitar solos that sound on here, fresh, fast, fun and exciting.

Now to the songs, they cruise by so fast, all having a chant or mantra, the music itself is not original nu metal, but the energy combined with the anger combined with the melodies makes Sinner a very fun listen. Bodies packs a monster hook and chorus, the ultimate mosh anthem, stupid but it works. Sinner has an awesome chorus riff flowing with daves vocals,Tear Away is simple, dark, sombre and catchy at the same time. All over me is venom at a decent tempo,Reminded has a rocking chorus going well with the down n dirty

Maybe not nearly as good as some of the bands that have played the 3rd stage on the U.S. ozzfest (check out Otep and Mushroomhead). Drowningpool are more melodic than most of the bands, and while sounding good on hit track "bodies", they tend to sound a little like Creed on some tracks. Perhaps this one needs time to grow.

a fantastic album. love it to death!. this was my first album that i have bought by this band as i really loved the single 'bodies', i have since fallen in love with this album and will be purchasing the others too. very similar to early seether(whom are my ultimate fav band btw). bit of screamo music, but not too much, some really good melodies and harmony vocals. a good mix. if not sure, check them out on utube.

this CD starts off with a good melodic and strong song, "sinner". then goes off with a very good song, "bodies". tear away is ok but the next few songs are annoyingly alike and repedative. "all over me" and "reminded" might as well be the same song and sound like the band forgot how to write a chorus. i think sermon is a good neutral song, not christian but not entirely against religeon. it's not the best album but in my opinion a CD worth buying.
