Great if you use waldorf philosophy in full or part at home - and in general for everyone else. Singing is wonderful for language acquisition in children - and best part is that young children are very forgiving critics - so even if, like me, you've always believed you can't sing - well, poppycock, you can and your children will love it.
I also find this book very useful as a childminder too - it has encouraged me to use songs at difficult times with minded children - to help children who feel anxious at seperation from their parent etc and truly I am amazed how much it helps.
Some of the tunes are a bit boring, so, inspite of limited musical abilities and singing voice - I have nonetheless made up my own tunes. Although children do seem to prefer relatively simple melodies that are a tad repetitive - and many of the songs in the book are based on the pentonic scale.
