This is the first book I've read of Aly Martinez and it won't be he last. I couldn't put it down.

From the opening chapters I was pulled into a world where I was told a story but was the story real?

Jude is policeman who was off duty when a call came through asking him to check on a property, that was all, just check. When he got there it was a nightmare and two people's lives were forever changed that night.

Jude is a good person that made a foolish choice and he didn't need anyone else to punish him for it because he managed to do that all on his own.

Rhion is as tough as can be, she has a sense of humour and a heart as big as the moon. She lives her life as fully as she can with all of the restrictions she has placed on herself.

Jude doesn't see anything but a woman, no insecurities, no baggage just his butterfly.

This is a beautifully written story with humour, love and forgiveness.

Well this is the first novel I've read by this author, and it most definitely will not be the last. The author has an excellent way with descriptive grammar, making you feel in the novel itself. The characters are so real and full of emotional, turmoil and humour, you can't help but feel their experiences. The storyline has romantic elements, mystery and mistrust combined with sub plots and loyalty issues. The two main characters Jude and Rhion are so scarred in all senses of the word that it makes your heart ache for them, but love conquers all. The body guard, protective and possessive. The heiress, frightened but protective. I shall definitely be reading more of this author and recommend her to my friends.

I love this author; she definitely knows how to write a good story. I haven't read anything by Aly for a long time, so when I saw this I knew I just had to get my hands on it and I was not disappointed, it was brilliant. This is quite an emotional roller coaster read and it had a very 'real' feel to it.

I thought it was great how the book world is a part of Rhion's life and there are things mentioned about other books that I have read, which gave me a great feeling and made me connect with the characters on a whole new level.

It's strange how two strangers experience the same terrible incident but be effected in completely different ways. One full of guilt and is tortured night after night by her in his dreams. The other has him in her dreams but it doesn't torture her, it soothes her, but what will happen when the two finally meet?

I would love to tell you all about it as it is soooo very good, I read it in one sitting; but I won’t because I don’t want to spoil this wonderful story for you. I will say though that it is not to be missed. I do recommend you one click this and any book by this author. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
A Book Lover's Emporium.

I have read so many books this last few weeks that at times it is hard to find one that stands out for the right reasons, this didn’t leave me with that problem…Nope, this brought me a story that demanded that I pay attention and wasn’t willing to accept second best from me, from the minute I had scanned my way across the first page, I knew I was in for a long night.
The detail poured from every page, the author did a stellar job of showing the emotional power that her writing was able to convey because I was completely absorbed.
Rhion…Oh Rhion, I wanted so much more for her, so much more than she had already been through, her past was as painful as I could either possible comprehend or manage, it forced me to accept that bad things happen to good people and that despite praying for her fortune to turn around and for her past to have been little more than a figment of her imagination, I knew in my soul that she needed to have experienced that pain to make her the woman she was and it is only that woman, that broken woman that could possibly be the right woman for Jude.
Jude suffered and he did so daily but with a quiet dignity that didn’t allow those around him to bear any witness to his turmoil. His past was his to bear and he lived with that, even though it ate away at his very being and it was painful to read, almost too much as I slowly but surely read as he almost crumbled before my eyes.

Two broken soul's fighting for control of a wildfire.

A story of healing and the hero who gets the damsel in distress only this isn't like a fairy-tale romance along the way you get characters who have sleepless nights, nightmares and are consumed with guilt and it seems only together with each other can they find a healing that brings peace.

Jude:
Rhion Park had ignited my life in imaginable ways.

Rhion:
A fire blazed between us with only one way to extinguish it.

Jude is a police officer having a drink or two in a bar after his shift when he receives a call to go check on a manor that has alarms triggered. Jude argues that he is off duty but is persuaded to go being the nearest.

Jude discovers a fire has broken out and sees a girl who is Rhion on a ledge.

With alcohol clouding his judgment Jude makes wrong decisions resulting in both of them being Hurt by the flames but had he not arrived she would have died.

Years later the two are reunited but in their dreams they have never been apart.

This is the start of Jude and Rhion's relationship.

Rhion has no close family but is part of a family of men of The Guardian protection agency who have been looking after her since her fathers death and she was left his fortune.

An exciting concept a book for each one of these hot bodyguards I loved the characters main and extended.

Singe is a heartwarming read that contains humor, drama, hotness and a plot twist, told in dual pov's and leads to a hea.
