One of the quirkiest, funniest books I've read to my grandchildren and one that nearly had my weeping with laughter. There's some gorgeous, outrageously 'cheeky' rhyming text in here and I love the idea of pigs with 'perky pink bottoms' and peacocks who just love putting their bottoms on display. The artwork is worthy of mention. There's a whole parade of animals on show and their various bottoms are a sight to behold.
Excellent fun and most highly recommended.
We created a made up tune to sing the words too and they all sing a long and do the actions...brilliant.
The books ends by awarding the best bottom goes to ....... so I used it as a reward when my daughter had no 'accidents' (whilst potty training) she was awarded 'Best bottom' that night at bedtime.
I'm always slightly nervous of certain 'bottom' books as my mother in law is quite 'old school' and would be horrified if the kids repeated something very rude but this book gets the tone exactly right. I urge you to buy it and get singing along with your kids.

Funny poem, great rhymes. Wonder if there's a tune for it? My two year old daughter had me read it to her ten times in a row one evening!Published 12 months ago by Snoopy Girl
This was a present for 4 year old. He and his sister found it hilarious and it was required bedtime read for quite a time!Published 24 months ago by susie elmes
great song with a tune that is easy to follow - even for someone with no musical experience. The kids love this - cheeky and fun.Published on 3 Jan. 2015 by EAH
