~~ 4 "Sinful" Stars ~~
I really don't know how to write this review. I know I have said this in the past, but this book is one of those books that anything I want to say about this book would be a major spoiler for the story. So I apologize now if this review is on the short and vague side. I'll start by saying that I truly enjoyed this book. It kept my interest all the way through and was interesting enough that I wanted to continue turning the page. What I really liked about this story was that it was totally different and unique from other books, with this theme, that I have read. I found that to be totally refreshing. For some reason, lately, I have been attracted to the stripper, exotic, or burlesque dancer stories. ( I really don't' know why :/ ) This book was about a Burlesque dancer. What I found great was that, normally in these types of books the heroine is usually someone who is broken and has some serious issues which lead her to the life of stripping or dancing, well in this book, that is totally not the case. Both the characters in this story were strong and healthy characters. Now I am not saying that both of these characters didn't suffer some sort of tragic event when they were younger, because they did. They just were able to function better after it. I felt the pace and flow of this book was great, but I will admit that I was a little confused towards the middle of the book, but that was all ironed out as the book went on. The reason I didn't give this book 5 stars was because there was a part or aspect of this book that I'm normally not that comfortable reading about. I just think that there should've been a small disclaimer, so that people know it's in this story. It was written very well so it didn't make me too uncomfortable, it's just one of those things I would've like to know ahead of time. It took me by surprise. I also felt that this book didn't tap into all of my emotions like a 5 star book normally does, but that doesn't mean that I didn't thoroughly enjoy this story.
As for the characters….we are introduced to quite a few, but the main characters are Reese and Tessa. Like I said before I really liked these two characters. Tessa was a burlesque dancer and proud of it. What I loved was that she made NO excuses for what she did for a living. She enjoyed her job and all that it entailed and wasn't ashamed. I also loved that she came from a healthy family home. Yes like I said before their was a tragic event that happened when she was younger, that she harbored some guilt over, which in turn made her shut down her emotions and close her heart to love, but she was still a strong and functioning main character. She also closed her heart to love because she had been burned in the past when it came to other boyfriends. That was until she met Reese. I really liked Reese….he melted my heart and panties. I will say though that something he does in this book I wasn't too happy with (No Cheating) but I was glad to see that it all ended up great in the end. Reese was also a very strong character, who had something tragic happen in his past that completely changed his life's path, but it didn't break him. He was a person that believed that everything happens for a reason. I loved that he loved Tessa for who she was and was willing to except everything about her. He was also able to prove to Tessa that fairytales can come true ;)
I know I didn't really talk about the storyline much, but I really can't. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a steamy love story that was unique in it's own way.
Claudia Bradshaw hit the high notes for sure! Sin For Love is about past and present colliding together. Strippers, bikers and fortune tellers made this book interesting.
Reese Nichols is a biker and custom shop owner who 10 years earlier had his fortune read at a carnival. Madame Miranda told him exactly how to find his soulmate and it changes his life forever.
Tessa Donahue is a burlesque dancer who loves her job and her "Tequila-Os". She had a huge loss in her teens and now lives her life to the absolute fullest. She makes no apologies for her sexual desires and preferences.
Tessa and Reese have instant attraction that is going to lead them through the seven deadly sins and straight on a collision course with destiny. How could they have known how deeply connected they both are by their pasts? Claudia Bradshaw writes a steamy book with lots of sexual tension. I was surprised that this was a debut novel and I loved the crazy chapter titles! Not too mention I love books were I get 2 character POVs. The only thing that really lost me was how the Deadly Sins trial was wrapped up. Overall, great book.

Favorite Quote: "There is something you should know about me by now; I loved sex. I wasn't a whore and I didn's f*** just anyone. I had standards, and they were quite high, thank you very much." -Tessa
I loved this book from the opening dialogue in the first couple of chapters all the way to the very end. I was very surprised by this book. By now you all know I read for pure fun and enjoyment. I love a book that grabs me from the very beginning and says you are not putting me down until you are finished. This was my first Claudia Bradshaw book and will not be my last. I Loved Tessa aka Rain. I wish I could be so bold and in charge of my sexuality. She is who she is and she doesn't care if you like it or not. She owns her own life and destiny. She loves being a stripper. Reese well he's all kinds of smoking hot sexiness. I really enjoyed reading this book, it was a nice change from what I have been reading recently. I want to wish Claudia all the success she deserves. If you are looking for a fun read that also takes you through the lives of two unique people well this is the book for you. I have already recommend the book to several friends. Happy Reading from your Favorite Book Vixen.
I loved them together. They just worked. Tessa’ inner monologue had me dying. She is hilarious! Dual POV made me happy- yet one thing that bothered me was the secret that we didn’t learn from Reese’s POV as to why he was doing what he was doing. It all came out in the end, but it was frustrating.
The friendships were fantastic. Lots of funny banter, and so much love. A fun read, that will have you laughing, teary and rooting for a fantastic love affair.
