Before getting houseparty i would reccomend getting livin' it up because this livin it up offers many more items, and makes house party more interesting to play.
House party is one of the first sims game ever made, so it does not have the most precice ways of communicating with other sims but as I said before it is a good way of starting off and getting used to the way the Sims works. Once you have got the hang of the sims, then i would start buying other expansion packs.
100+ new objects including a mechanical bull , a bubble blower , a camp fire and a DJ booth.
Hire entertainers , caterers and a little something for th adults.A Cake Dancer.
Party Balloons are Great out side if you want more party guests , but , if the mime comes you know your party is a dud. Look out for him , he stole my toilet!
With all this new stuff you'll be addicted!
with your own simulated people first pick your own looks, clothes, names and family then design your own house for your sims to live in cheats come with the first verion of SIMS for instance rosebud;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;! and the more of the punctuation like that you do the more money you get thats why i gave this fun p.c item 5 stars
'Yep, that's my game.' Well you'll know what I mean when I say, that's how it is with all of the Sims Games. You get them home, create your people, their houses, choose their clothes, their living rooms, bathrooms, bedrooms, and gardens. But then, when I got the House party game, I loaded it, made friends, and BOOM! I had my guy on the DJ system, his brother in a dance cage and a load of people cheering for the Mechanical Bull.
All REAL swell, but it's a challenge. You hire a caterer and you're set, you can grab a Cake Dancer if things arent going too good but if your party is going down the drain, you get the Mime dancing on your dance floor while everyone else falls asleep on your toilet.
This game you can watch your people go through every day life and watch their career grow or fall to nothing, or party every night and trash the house with litter! Irresistible gaming, you make friends or your party is a failiure, but even if you do make friends, people get jealous and things get nasty on your screen. Sometimes, you just think...
'Well calm down little guy, we chill more than that in reality!'
A MUST HAVE GAME, BELIEVE THIS IF NOTHING ELSE!

On Win.7, I run this in a virtual machine on Win.XP. It runs perfectly, but since having played TS2 and 4, it just isn't as good, or, sadly, quite as good as I remember. Read morePublished 11 months ago by Rose
