From the Inside Flap
She's sworn off bad boys.
There's just one problem. . . .
When life goes awry for wild and sexy Julia Boudreaux, she packs up her stiletto heels and swears off guys who spell nothing but trouble. And to keep her job in television, she decides to create a TV hit-a makeover show. She's going to turn rugged West Texas men into sensitive guys. Easier pitched than done.
Undercover cop Ben Prescott is so sexy it hurts. Back in Julia's orbit after a brush with a bullet, Ben steers clear of the woman who used to set his blood afire. She's changed from Mae West to Mother Teresa, and she's trying to turn him into a sensitive guy. But when life heats up, will this rugged hunk risk everything for a woman who's about to lose it all?

Top Customer Reviews
There is nothing endearing or charming about the characters - they have only one ting on their mind, that I find it utterly unbelievable that they develop some true feelings for another.
In one scene Julia and Ben is in the kitchen together and Julia fondly talks about her dead mother and how when she was alive used to sing and dance to Hot Stuff when no one was watching. One day when Julia comes upon her, instead of getting upset or embarassed, her mother pulls Julia towards her to sing and dance along. Ben's response is: "You knew the words?"
Despite the pages upon pages of text porn, this book left me nothing but unsatisfied.

Undercover cop Ben Prescott is shot in the thigh. Not wanting to keep his brother, Sterling, and his new wife from taking their honeymoon trip, Ben promises to remain in Julia's huge house as he recovers. Julia wants HIM to be her first make-over candidate. Of course he refuses. No one, including Julia, knows he is a cop and the last thing an undercover cop needs is to be plastered all over the TV or in newspapers ... especially while (once he is physically able) he is searching for his partner's killer.
***** I cannot express how disappointed I am that this trilogy is closing. This book, in my opinion, is the best of the three. It had me on the edge of my seat in some areas, diving into totally HOT scenes in others, and laughing aloud in still others! However, I console myself by repeating over and over "She will write another book. She will write another book. She will write another book." Author Linda Francis Lee creates realistic characters, each with their own set of personalities, and does it all in such a way that I come to actually care for the characters. When a book leaves you wishing for more, it is time to put that author's name on your "favorites" list. And Linda Francis Lee is definitely on mine! This entire trilogy is much like the author herself, OUTSTANDING! *****

Julie Boudreaux life has been in an upheaval after her father died. She had to let the household staff go, sell of the TV station, etc to pay off her fathers debts. Julia decides to change her wild and sexy ways but she hadn't planned on bad boy Ben Prescott making her rethink her new ways.
Undercover cop Ben Prescott is shot on the job and needs a place to heal. Julia offers to take Ben in since his brother Sterling just married her best friend Chloe. Ben is trying to deal with the recent murder of his partner but thoughts of Julia keep running through his mind.
Julia has an idea for a new reality show, to change a bad boy into a sweetie pie. As this is going on in her home, Ben is making a play for the former bad girl.
Ben and Julia both have problems from their past to work through. They have such a funny and witty banter. Their chemistry will knock you off your feet.
This book will hold a special place in your heart.
The chemistry and personalities of Ben and Julia were wonderfully matched. Ms. Lee is truly a wonderful voice in romance and her reads are not only fast but extremly entertaining. I managed to read this story in one day and was so sad to say goodbye at the very end.
The secondary storyline of Ben's was just as good as the romance between him and Julia. Both are wounded in different ways but see beyond the hurt of the other to what lays deep down. This was a very sensual read and one that I highly recommend without any qualms. For a wonderful read that you can sink into I suggest Ms. Lee.

Julia Boudreaux's life has suddenly been turned upside down since her father died and she had to sell everything including his TV Station to the highest bidder to pay his enormous debts that he left her with. Julia is smart, sassy and sexy and accustomed to getting what she wants. She's a beautiful, formerly wealthy woman with gorgeous black hair to her waist and violet eyes. And even though she thinks Ben Prescott is a handsome greek god, she pretty much can't stand him (she says). She'd never met a man before Ben, that she couldn't wrap around her finger...that made her feel completely undone and Julia doesn't like the feeling.
Ben Prescott is an undercover cop recuperating from a gunshot wound. He's forced to stay with Julia Boudreaux until his brother returns from his honeymoon...he has no other place to stay. He has no other option. Until then, he's obsessed with finding his partner's murderer. His partner who was killed execution style in a dark alley. Ben won't rest until he brings the murderer in.
I liked that first and foremost, this story was about Ben and his secret undercover cop status...I loved his vengeance towards finding his partner's murderer. I liked the undercurrent attraction between Ben and Julia and their love/hate relationship. I loved how they avoided each other because they both feel this electric attraction that neither of them want. It was wonderful! I loved that their attraction slowly grows into a very slow boil and didn't overwhelm the suspense or mystery of the story. This story is much more serious than Sinfully Sexy..the story of Ben's brother, Sterling Prescott and his love interest, Chloe Sinclair...yet it was still filled with so much humor and witty dialogue and juicy moments. I didn't like how there was no conclusion as to the children of Ben's former partner. It didn't feel complete, nor did the unscrupulous secret life of Ben's former partner. All in all, this was another brilliant winner.
