I've been a fan of these books since the first one came out and they jsut keep getting better. [This Review May Contain Spoilers. Ye Have Been Warned!]

The story follows on from where The Meaning Of Life left of with Racheal waiting for Justin to pick her up from Prom yet he never arrives, instead he takes Sophie Jacobs (Who Dad invented Microwave Muffins and one stared in a Fairy Comercial) and stands up Racheal who is left to watch the BBC with her parents and her brother James.

Racheal is heartbroken and makes a "Simple Life" pact with Scarlett and Sad Ed to stay anyway from all men (Not including Sad Ed) and not let emotions get in the way of life.

The book is really good, it has all of Joanna's wit form the first three books and had me in stiches like always. The character of Racheal is still as dim when it comes to boys and it still annoys me that she cannot see Jack's affections for her...

I cannot wait for the fifth book that comes out later this year and I'm happy in knowing that Joanna is writing a sixth. A great book in all!

I love the Rachel Riley diaries. I am eking them out slowly as there are a finite number and I don't want to run out, especially now that there will be no more books by Louise Rennison, whose books the Rachel Riley books most resemble. If you've read the other books in the series you will find more of the same here. Another disastrous year in the life of Rachel, a desperate to be ingenue bohemian who is cursed with frizzy hair, sensibility and living in Saffron Walden with a mother obsessed with stain removal. Funny, sharp, clever and a joy to read.

This was bought for my 11 year old daughter who is a voracious reader. She reads books in one sitting and has plowed her way through 6 of Joanna Nadin's Rachel Riley books. I was concerned the content would be too old for her - but clearly not as she loved them. She found the characters very funny and was kept interested in the whole story throughout. Would definitely recommend to others.

Downloaded this book after reading the reviews. Book is ok, some parts are very funny but I found that I was speed reading certain chapters.
