I bought this book for my young nephew who has just started to suffer from eczema. I suffered from it myself pretty badly in my early teens and was dismayed there was not a lot that could be done.

Simple Eczema Solution goes into detail about the different kinds of eczema and its root causes. It then goes on to take a more holistic approach (always the best way) into the treatment of the condition. What to include in your diet and what to cut out etc. The author also mentions which supplements you should be taking as well as a whole bunch of other methods to control it.

I think my nephew will be very happy to know that he should be eating more honey, if only I knew this myself when growing up.

If eczema is an issue for you then this book is recommended!

I suffer from chronic hand eczema, which has been a part of my life on and off for 20 years plus (I'm 31). Topical steroids (betnovate/dermovate) used to keep the issue under control, but over the last few years they have lost effectiveness. I have also found out that they are dangerous to use long term. I bought this book hoping for some insight into the issue from an holistic perspective, but it really is just a short report on classic treatments and diet (all of which I've done and none of which helped). For me, there is nothing in this book that I have not read before, but if you are new to the problem it could be a good place to start - get some ideas for further research. I'm glad it was cheap. Plus, there are lots of typos/grammar/spelling errors...

I really like this book (and it is a proper book, not one of those 10 page pamphlets which are passing themselves off as books on Amazon!)

I already knew some of the stuff in the book, but there is a lot more in it that I didn't know. It is really easy to read and even gets the techy points over in a way that's easy to understand.

It's early days yet, but I'm confident that I can clear up my eczema by using this book.

A few helpful hints, but these guides are just that guides and all will have something to offer the sufferer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great advice 30 April 2012
By Mollytjm - Published on Amazon.com
This is the best book for listing alternative approaches to fight eczema. It's clear and easy to understand and the suggestions contain enough variety That you can certainly find some of them at your local stores. Plus, the descriptions of types of eczema at excellent and it's the first book that lists even rare ones. I have one of these so was grateful to find it included. If you want to get one book on the topic, this is a good one to buy.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth it 25 Oct. 2012

This isn't so much a book as an essay. I finished reading it within a couple of hours. The content was very basic and I could find more useful information from a quick google search. The author's spelling and grammar skills are poor and sometimes it was difficult to understand the message she was trying to convey because this book was so poorly edited. Not worth the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Comprehensive 12 Mar. 2012
By KLD - Published on Amazon.com
I was surprised that this book on one skin condition only was so thorough. The writing style and layout is very easy to read and you get the information quickly without alot of fluff - which I like very much. Dina included comparisons to other conditions which was very helpful. I got some very useful information on how to deal with exzema using natural remedies. I've tried so many things and I can't find anything that works consistently. I have hope that some of the ideas in this book will lead me to some relief.
