About the Author
Simon Leach is an internationally recognised ceramicist, descending from a family that has lead in the ceramics field since the early 20th century. Simon's grandfather, Bernard Leach is famous for introducing the Western world to Eastern studio philosophies. His father, David, is known for expanding ceramics education in England and Europe. Simon has gained celebrity status in his field, most notably for his YouTube videos covering basic ceramics techniques. As a beginner, this is a book I'm sure I'll refer to a good deal but I tend to think there would also be things of interest here for the somewhat more experienced practitioner too.
