Product description

...includes audio download code. An electronica/ambient audio-visual experience. The Sunday Experience described Simfonica's 'Letters In Time' as "...the vivid beauty of Debussy and the gravitas of John Tavener." Each of the four pieces that make up the DVD is inspired by a significant letter from modern history: "J'Accuse" (17.00) reflects on Emile Zola's open letter to the President of France in 1898; "From A Birmingham Jail" (8.59) - Martin Luther King's letter from 1963; "A Soldier's Declaration" (10.21) - Siegfried Sassoon's 1917 anti-war statement, later printed in The Times; and "De Profundis" (11.32) - Oscar Wilde's 1897 letter to Lord Alfred Douglas from Reading Gaol. Total DVD playing time - 47.52
