- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 August 20105 or 6 of us from work all decided to buy a sub £30 RC plane to all fly about for a laugh at lunch times. Out of them all this one was the best by a long long way. I needed to spend 2 minutes trimming to get it flying straight, after that it was amazing. Goes quite high, easy to control (within 5 or 10 mins you feel you have it sussed), can get signal for a good hundred feet or more, plenty of flying time for 1 charge, way over 15 mins . Other planes that were bought couldnt even manage to fly 20 yards in a straight line after hours of faffing with the controls. If you want to spend around £20 on a little RC plane that will be easy to control from the second you first fly it - then buy this one as its great fun and no nonsense.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 August 2010Works ok, but not the most robust. Made of polystyrene and don't expect it to last too long. Would have been better if made from plastic.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 December 2012I ordered this plane as a christmas gift for my nephew, well it arrived today (yes delivery was great and packaging great too)BUT BUT BUT I am so very dissapointed, this is awful, I really hate leaving bad feedback but this definately deserves it ~ the description says it is made of plastic and the pictures look lovely, an expensive looking present, very colourful and bright, but the whole plane is made of polystyrene with stickers as detail on the wings, that's the only detail there is, the body is painted dark blue (there aren't any windows like it shows in the pictures) the rest of the plane is left white polystyrene, so very cheap looking I have sent it back immediately, I would consider paying £10 for this but definately not worth £30. It may work and fly well but I don't even want to find out ~ I will definately be buying my nephew something else, such a shame ....
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 October 2011I am very pleased with this toy although it is a bit smaller than I thought. It does take some getting used to but an excellent starter plane non the less. It was delivered very quickly even though it was on a normal delivery. It is shockingly quick when it is going overhead at full speed and is a very satisfying plane. But you must fly in a very large, very flat field because when I flew mine it glided very well and can get blown by the wind with ease when the thrust is off.
On the maiden voyage it flew up then down to crash, on the 2nd go it flew amazingly then I flew it out of range and it crashed, on the 3rd go it flew greatly and I glided it down, but on the 4th go when I was just getting used to it, it went too fast, it went very far away and luckily by the skin on my teeth a wind blew it into some nice peoples garden and it was found in about an hour and a half. I am going to learn from my mistakes and fly it in a BIGGER FIELD! but when you buy your first plane you are prone to crashing it and it think that it wasn't the planes fault for crashing and it was mine. But over all it is a fantastic starter plane and I am going to enjoy it very much.
HIGHLY RECOMENDED !
Saturday 27th October 2012
After a half a year of flying it gave up unexpectedly, the engines failed and could not take the wieght of the plane and landed quickly,(they did go though). it was in the loft for a long time and when we found it the wing had broken making it unflyable. So I ripped out the engines and put them on a balsa plane instead-this should fly well! Now I think it was way overpriced for what it was!-GO TO A MODEL SHOP!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 July 2013Thanks to other reviews we bought this for a 7th birthday present ( for someone who can already fly a Silverlit helicopter! ). Simple to fly and, thanks to its expanded polystyrene construction, it is extremely light. The upshot is that even a full nose dive crash has little energy to break it, although I wouldn't expect it to survive such a landing on concrete. I had trouble understanding the steering but there was a little breeze and I guess it has some clever controls to help keep it stable, so I'll put it down to that!
We didn't have to weight it or anything else: backing off the throttle after it has some height brings it level and you can just switch off the throttle to land it... it glides nicely without power.
Gets a full recommendation from me and its owner!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 September 2013Guys,
The plane wasnt that great. Firstly its difficult to get it flying in a straight line without correcting the trim which isnt that obvious from the instructions. Secoundly its not that durable. After a couple of crashes the whole thing just feel apart. The nose smashed off and after that it didnt work properly. All in all it flew 6 times, at £5 a time its pretty poor value. I would rather of spent more money and got a better plane.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 October 2011I was quite surprised about how small this plane was when it arrived (yes I know I should have payed closer attention to the description). Plus is seems really cheap (probably made for no more than £3 in China! So I think the £30 price tag is a bit steep. It's made of foam so it should be quite durable, plus it comes with a few spare propellers (and the radio transmitter). As it's really light you can only use it in virtually zero wind conditions (and you can't really use it indoors as it's pretty fast). Direction control is done purely by the propellers, with no rudder or elevators. So in summary, a bit of fun but the price is a bit steep.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 June 2013I couldn't fault this product at all. I took a punt on buying this product even though some reviews were pretty negative. I have only flown it once but the first flight was very successful. The package also arrived 3 days after I ordered it which was very good. I flew mine on a football pitch surrounded by other fields away from any trees. This was probably a good thing as the plane would get caught in the wind when flown at a height and take on a mind of its own but when surrounded by fields its not a big deal. It also said in the manual that you could get about 3 minutes flying time. I was able to get more like 30 minutes flying time. As long as you don't live in central London were you are surrounded by buildings this would be a great buy. Well done china on another successful product.

GiovaReviewed in Italy on 27 December 20125.0 out of 5 stars Facile da pilotare, piuttosto fragilino

FredReviewed in Germany on 27 October 20095.0 out of 5 stars Super Teil!

GeneSimReviewed in Germany on 11 November 20113.0 out of 5 stars Günstiges Einsteiger-Gerät
