The sellotape - you need this to remove protective backing off film. Pull 4" off roll. Place it in corner of film you have measured & cut leaving 1" protruding. Now, bend film towards you as you push tape away - if backing does not come away you are on the wrong side - reverse film & apply tape other side & repeat. That or you can sit there 'forever' picking away at he edge trying to remove the backing! You are welcome.
THIS product will give you back your privacy. Follow the instructions supplied 'implicitly' & you cannot go wrong. Just ensure the scissors and any blades you use are new 'sharp' or you WILL tear the product. Also do not be afraid to soak everything 'and I mean soak' in soapy water. If you do not you will get trapped air bubbles, rips tears and end up losing the product to the bin. Thoroughly clean the windows frames, sills & glass so all is as good as sterile to reduce bit being transferred back onto the glass surface.. Soap up the glass again & scrape the window with a Stanley knife blade, then scour it with a plastic scrubber as doing this will remove anything stuck to the glass. If you fail to do this you WILL get blemishes.
Once you have initial fit - that was when I trimmed all to fit the window - you MUST use a brand new Stanley knife blade for this or you will tear the product. Take your time - you only have one go at this!
After application, trimming I fitting you must immediately gently push out any & all air & water bubbles starting from dead centre to the edges.
I used a rubber window squeegee to start with and did final 'press through' with a debit card.
Do not use anything with an edge on it pushing bubbles out as you will rip the film.
DO NOT press too hard - just enough to move bubbles to the edge & out & take your time or you WILL rip the film.
Repeat the 'bubble push' 6 or so hours later.
We live on a new build and with building work underway behind us can now see how overlooked our back bedroom will be.......my venetian blinds not capable of giving the privacy I require from different angles.
I am very happy with the results........found that applying solution to the window AND the glass facing side of film worked best....used sellotape to act as tabs to pull back the backing film......BIG thumbs up.....
Not as dark as I thought it would be...bonus!.....
Complete daytime privacy...from outside it looks like I have very clean windows and you cannot see into the room at all even when right up against window....we tested it, as you do :) ......I am not worried about hours of darkness as my blinds will be closed anyway.....

I myself found it invaluable a wealth of knowledge and I learnt something new from it.
My tips for anyone is to make sure the windows are free from all kinds of foreign matter, no matter how small.
Use a Stanley blade in a holder over the entire window and remove the lump and bumps as washing the windows with soapy water is not enough, even the smallest bit of dirt will leave a bump in the film which is very noticeable from the outside.
Make sure to wash the windows many times, if the black rubber seal on the inside is feathered into the window I would advise you to pay particular attention to this. It can be cleaned by using an edge of an old credit card and plenty of soapy water just slip the corner of the card just under the seal and working from the top down spraying the black seal with a spray bottle of soapy water you will be amazed how much grime is under there, keep repeating until the water runs clear. Once the prep work is done you are ready to install the film....... WATCH THE YOUTUBE VIDEO PLEASE.
I have already referred this product to a friend and he is highly interested in its application of use, a certain area of his business, case sensitive to the general public can now be screened off by this film
Follow the instructions carefully and watch the YouTube video. Make sure the window is spotlessly clean as even a tiny speck of dirt will look like a house brick once the film is fitted. Take the time to measure and cut it to size beforehand leaving a 1cm excess all the way around. Too much excess makes it difficult to work with, once it’s wet and the backing is off. It’s a tricky and frustrating process, not helped by the heat but I managed to fit it by myself. Had someone helped me, I’m certain we would no longer be friends! 😂
I used a credit card and a window squeegee to get a good finish and was really pleased with how well it turned out.

Posé, la fenêtre fait un peu verdâtre mais il filtre un peu la chaleur et surtout il n'y a plus de vis à vis la journée.
