Joanne Wylde does it again, another awesome MC book. Love that the Reapers are there too.

Puck (Silver Bastard MC) and Painter (Reapers MC) are released from prison and just want to get laid and drink. Time in jail was not easy for them but they got through it.

Becca Jones step father was a friend to the Longneck MC and a evil man. He didn't care about his stepdaughter. Just what she could do for him. Her mother wasn't much better to her Becca's .

One night Becca's life just got worse and he mother saved her by sending her away with the Silver Bastards and the Reapers. That was five years ago and you would hope Becca's life got better.

Read the book to see if Becca's life got better or worse.

I would recommend Joanna Wylde MC Books.

I tried to keep this as spoiler free as I could but I failed so it has some spoilers, you have been warned.

The book introduces us to the club Silver Bastards. It’s start of a spin-off from Joanna Wylde’s Reaper’s MC series.

Puck Redhouse is the youngest member of Silver Bastards. Five years ago, he came out of prison after serving his fourteen months time. Never imaging that night he would meet someone that would change his life forever (yes, I’m being sappy cause why not, it’s romance after all).

Becca Jones childhood though not bad took a turn for the worse when her mother remarried. Becca hates the motorcycle club and all they represent. Saying her home life was difficult is an understatement. Her mother and her step-father’s drug use and their behaviour towards each other and to her gave her a very twisted view of the world, left with some emotional scars and vulnerable. Which all of course changes when Puck rescues her and takes her with him Idaho. Now five years later, she’s in college about to complete her degree, has friends and lovely foster parents who gave her a home and took her under their wing.

However one blip of darkness in her new life is her mother, who seriously was demented in my opinion or very desperate I suppose. For years Becca has being trying to get her mother away from her stepfather but no avail. Becca loves her mother, though she understands that she needs help, it just doesn’t stop her from caring for her mother.

I really liked Puck, he was like a rock in all the craziness that was happening at times.

After reading the Reapers series Johanna Wylde became one of my favourite MC writers so finding out there would be a new MC series I pre-ordered my copy and sat all day reading and I really enjoyed Puck and Becca's story there was just the right amount of everything to keep me glued to the pages. It was good to see the Reaper members pop up throughout the book but the only part of the book I felt was a bit confusing which is why I only gave 4 stars was the bonus epilogue with Shane and his bodyguard Rourke but other than that well worth the wait and I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a love for MC novels.

I dont like to give too much away in reviews but Jo's books are my go to. I love her style of writing, its always gritty, gripping and she drags you into her world. I loved the reapers series as Jo builds worlds aswell as individual characters and i can wait to get deeper into silver valley. In a genre that has really taken off this author creates some of the best story lines and characters there are!!

I love the MC world of Joanna Wylde. This is Ms Wylde at her best. I wasn't to keen on 'Reapers Stand' but this book is amazing, I really loved it.
At the end of 'Reapers Stand' Puck and Painter have been in prison for 14 months.
Silver Bastards starts with them both getting out.
The beginning is great a bit of a shocker and I love the way Puck dealt with the situation and how the other Bastards and the Reapers had his back. However that was 5 years ago.
Becca was rescued from her stepfather by Puck, and although it has been 5 years, he still can't get her out of his mind.
Two people with a history like Puck and Becca situations can get tricky and complicated, but we are not left hanging for very long.
Of cause there is drama, tantrums, some violence and not to mention some very, very hot sex scenes. This Puck and Becca's very complicated, hard to tell story, and I loved it.
The Reapers are minor characters in this book, but Painter was mentioned a lot. His and Millie's story will be realised in November.
This really is a great story and I am assuming there will be more from 'The Silver Bastards' as we meet a lot more characters and I can't wait to read them.

I did enjoy the book, but I just didn't like Becca. I loved Puck and just thought he could do better than her. She just wasn't a nice person to him and he was always fighting for her but she didn't fight for him. I will read others in the Silver Bastards as love a good MC book. Nice to hear bits about the Reapers and really can't wait for the next book!
