Every time we see a satsuma now they laugh!
It's now a game we play, we even take a satsuma( or an orange, depending on the time of year, other fruits are available) with us on long car journeys.
Who knows what that crazy fruit will do next!!!!
On a serious note both this and the sprout book have encouraged our children's imaginations immensely. All fruit and veg have a personality now thanks to this book and the kids now get more then their 5 a day!
Thanks Allan Plenderleith, your amazing, keep them coming.......awesome apple, maybe???????

Brought for neighbours little boy. Flicked through and decided it wasn't what I'd like to read to my two year old. Will pass over and let mother decide.Published 20 months ago by MRS J R ROSS

I love the message this book gives about being good, but a little too much about dog poo, the kids laughed at school when I rad itPublished on 9 Feb. 2014 by CEM
I bought the sprout and carrot books and liked those and they went down well with my great nieces and nephews but the poo references in this book are just revolting. Such a shame.Published on 1 Feb. 2014 by Amazon Customer
