5.0 out of 5 stars Ryan and Aloura's story: Total Winner 28 Nov. 2015
By Linda K. - Published on Amazon.com

Oh, wow!! There’s such a variety of awesome in this book.

-Fun moments (I just love how the brothers tease, how little Alfie stakes his claim on women, and when the whole gang is together!),

-Sad, heartbreaking moments (Too many to count whenever you watch Ryan go through all his troubles and reveal parts of his awful past),

-Scary moments (There’s a stalker, so...that’s a given),

-Hold-your-breath-for-the-next-word moments (the kidnapping scene...just, yeah, wow, intense!),

-I-can’t-believe-that-just-happened moments (Hercules!),

-Sweet, hope-filled moments (Both Aloura and Ryan being there for each other when they need someone the most),

-Suspicious moments (Had me doubting one of my favorite characters for a heartbeat!),

-Sexy, hot moments (Oh, yeah, those too!),

-Sigh-worthy moments (I mean, seriously, hand me a tissue, because her songs...nothing helps him like her piano-playing. Really, just...I’m all melted Olaf over here!),

-And the best for last, there’s moments filled with my favorite book boyfriend: Johan!! YAY!

The characters are stellar, well-rounded with lots of depth and likeability (and a few scenes that make you want to smack some sense into them, but it’d be boring if they were perfectly perfect throughout, so I love those scenes too!). The storyline keeps you reading, and dialogue is witty (a total must for me) and perfectly delivered.

Seriously, this story has a bit of everything, told from two points of view that lead you into the lives of two souls that need each other desperately. So if you like a range of emotions and a lot of romance in your reading pleasure, this may be a good fit!

It definitely fit into my favorites list!
5.0 out of 5 stars My heart breaks:❣ 3 Mar. 2016

In these stories we are taught or should I say reminded, just how inhuman people are, out there in the world. And we never truly know what is going on in another persons mind. We have learned what true insanity is, with the father ( grandfather ), mother ( grandmother). Man there isn't a hell bad enough for the likes of them. An unfortunately there are people out there just like them. Remember the book the Three Faces of Eve. To hope that children never have to suffer this type of abuse alone. Not having an adult support system where they can go with out fear of being hurt.....well that should be one of our goals. I know in these stories they were able to have a happy an loving life in the end. But how many in the real world end up killing themselves because they can't get the love and understanding they need. These stories are very real an powerful. I just hope and pray for the ones that fall into the cracks.😚😪🤗❣let us all try and show more love and keep our eyes open so we can do better. Thank you for these books.👏🏻
5.0 out of 5 stars but Frost does a fantastic job with this story 30 Nov. 2015

I don't usually give out five stars, but I will for this one. I've been waiting for this book for a while now. And after reading it, I will say it was worth the wait. Usually after three books an author looses her focus, but Frost does a fantastic job with this story. Ryan's character made his presence felt in "Surviving Love" and, wow, he stuck with me. I wanted his story, his HEA. I especially like how his story interconnects with the previous ones, his brothers' (and their wives) stories. Some authors fail to maintain connections between characters from previous books when all the characters have relationships with each other. It's as though their story is an isolated entity. Not so. And Frost seems to understand this. The story holds, despite editing mistakes (take care of that!). Anyone reading this story should at least read "Surviving Love" first. I recommend this series...
5.0 out of 5 stars Five stars! 27 Jan. 2017

I love this whole series, I have now read it three times. I love how aloura doesn't give up on Ryan. The best thing about this series is how all the characters interact with one another.
5.0 out of 5 stars I liked Ryan's story the best 30 Dec. 2015

I liked Ryan's story the best.
People lose their will to live, if everyday is a struggle to survive. Ryan's character is a prisoner to his own mind. That is worse than any physical pain. Aloura's character is very mature and I like the way she shows strength for Ryan even though she herself is timid. I think I got more about Will's character from this book than the last one.
I liked the writing style as well. It has laughter, sadness, family, relationships-I would say a good read.
