4.0 out of 5 stars Quick read 22 Feb. 2014

Wanting to read something a little different, I purchased this book. The Haikus are beautiful. The book is very short. It will not take long to read it. If you want something that is thought provoking, yet gentle on the mind and soul, read this book today.

4.0 out of 5 stars Short, dramatic images - food for thought. 7 Jun. 2015
By Ms Beastle - Published on Amazon.com

Simple haiku, revealing complex ideas - beautifully written, I found myself going back and revisiting several of these just to appreciate the concise points made. One of my favorites: "Oh, to be gazed at by the bottoms of the clouds..."
Really, so deceiving, like arms holding masses of flowers, just lovely.

Haiku is Japanese Fortune Cookie--simple aphorisms that
explode big ideas and concepts. "Small flowers, large beauty."Take a look
and read a couple a day.
