About the Author

Sign up for my newsletter -> eepurl.com/uxB4r New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Julia Kent writes romantic comedy with an edge. Since 2013, she has sold more than 1.5 million books, with 4 New York Times bestsellers and more than 16 appearances on the USA Today bestseller list. Her books have been translated into French and German, with more titles releasing in 2017. From billionaires to BBWs to new adult rock stars, Julia finds a sensual, goofy joy in every contemporary romance she writes. Unlike Shannon from Shopping for a Billionaire, she did not meet her husband after dropping her phone in a men's room toilet (and he isn't a billionaire). She lives in New England with her husband and three sons in a household where the toilet seat is never, ever, down. Just okay. This one picks up after Andrew and Amanda's engagement which I enjoyed. I read this book back to back with Shopping for a Billionaire's wife and that was a mistake because subsitute James for Marie and you have a very similar story but this time it is the bridegroom's father organising another OTT wedding that has little to do with what the happy couple want. There are the usual ridiculous situations and conversations between the characters, e.g. Marie, Penny, Josh, Shannon, Declan, James and the dog Spritzy but I found myself flicking through the pages thinking when on earth will this get better. Too many madcap pratfalls both physical and verbal.

Julia Kent writes well and there are some witty lines, one or two laugh out loud moments but there is a lot of waffle and a whole lot about tugging which had nothing to do with either Andrew or Amanda. Apparently it's when circumcised men want to regrow or stretch their foreskins. A few mentions were okay but the author seemed obsessed with it. I don't know it is actually a real thing but if so, I'm very pleased that baby boys in Europe are not usually circumcised, apart from those for religious beliefs if that's what American men have to go through. The first few books in this series had so much more to offer, and I'd really recommend them to readers This one was almost a cookie cutter version of the previous book Shopping for a Billionaire's wife.

Andrew and Amanda eventually get married right at the end of the book and it does have a happy ending but absolutely everything is predictable.

I really like Andrew as a character but the story is weak compared to the earlier ones. I think Julia Kent has run out of steam of these series and is just padding them out. Next will be babies no doubt. I am sure people who love this series will really love this book because of Julia Kent's writing style but I personally think I could have spent my £2.99 on a better book with more plot.

I've been looking forward to this book ages. And you know what? It didn't disappoint!

To be honest I'm surprised how Amanda lasted as long as she did before exploding!

It still has all the fun elements all the other previous books do. Witty one liners, Hilarious situations, (just the thought of Josh, C..3 & C4, send me into a fit of laughter! When you read it, you'll understand perfectly!)
This book starts out funny and it doesn't stop there with the paparazzi! They are invading every presence of Amanda's life. She's struggling to cope with it but she does, all because she loves Andrew!

Andrew is such a sweetheart, always there to comfort her when she needs and back her up when she needs him too. He also still has the competition going with Declan, but Terry beats them both! Man, picturing their face was priceless.

Will Andrew and Amanda get to have a wedding they wanted and not what James plans. He's an inconsiderate beast when he wants to be, which to me seems like all the time. I like that he's referenced to being exactly like Marie in this book.

I can't wait for the next book. I'm already excited to read what hilarious situations Julia comes up with next. Her imagination knows no bounds! A fantastic book with the perfect amount of drama, love, emotions and happy ever after.

I am thrilled that I got to be a part of the ARC team on this book. Thank you.

All the gang are back again, this time to celebrate the upcoming wedding of Andrew and Amanda. It amazes me that no matter how many books there are in this series, each one is just as good, if not better, than the one before.

Andrew and Amanda really are the perfect couple. Not because they are "perfect", more because they aren't. They both have their faults, issues and insecurities but the other loves and accepts everything about them. It has taken a while from their first kiss to get to this point where they are ready to commit however, despite not having Marie to interfere, they have someone much more destructive to their emotional well-being - James McCormick!

This story is full of comical genius. There are moments when I was smiling to full out 'roll-on-floor' laughing. The funniest part for me was the Medi-spa conversation which centered around Amanda, Josh, Carol and Marie. They are discussing a future mystery shop and as you can expect from these four the conversation goes off on a complete tangent. Josh's penis gets discussed at length (pun intended) and as usual mouth-to-brain filters are missing with hilarious outcomes.

This is most definitely a love story. Don't ever make me choose my favourite couple between Declan and Shannon or Andrew and Amanda because it just can't happen. This series has brought may smiles to my face and will continue to do so for a long time to come, rereading is essential!

Julia had done it again a 10* book. I loved this story. I love this series. I love this author.
The writing is so good. Full of great characters, emotion and enough detail that you will be squirming with pleasure, laughter and cringing with the joy of it all.
Amanda and Andrew just want to get married but James sees it as an opportunity to expand the McCormick profile. That started with Shannon and Declans wedding or I should say aborted wedding. He now what's more of the same so sets the wedding as the next big publicity function. Amanda wants Pams insight and she is being railroaded into a wedding she does not want. On top of that Amanda is being hassled and exposed by the paparazzi. What will it take for her to snap?
A beautifully written and captivating read I highly recommend.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book, which I have also purchased.
