There was some talk on Wiki that this was the basis for the TV show, so I expected to get plenty of insights and extra 'nuggets' of info from a fan's prospective. As with Wiki, it was wrong and what I got was literally a word for word translation of the first six episodes of the tv show into a book. They did this a lot in the 1970s and it annoys me that I have had this happen again after one of 'The Good Life' a few years back which I took to be scripts for the show.

not worth the money. It might have been great when you couldn't record the show or get it on vhs or dvd. and you could read it an enjoy the show without that luxury, but this book is a remnant of its time.
