What a fabulous 3rd instalment to Tear Asunder series.

Here we have Haven and Crisis story. I loved that this book was dual pov and not just from Haven, because there is so much more to the Crisis we know and love from the previous books. Yes he's really funny and as dirty mouth which is hot by the way ;-) But there is also such a tender, loving and protective side to him which I adored.

Haven is so broken and damaged after living the last 12 years in hell, taken from her twin brother Ream. Now she's back its a daily struggle to survive, keeping everyone at arms length. But Crisis refuses to let her give up, he gives her the normal she searching for. With a lot of patience can he break her walls down ?

This is a emotionally beautiful book. The very talented Nashoda Rose as done a superb job in writing and dealing with such horrid subjects.

Couldn't put this book down !! Would definitely recommend.

Shattered By You is the third book in Nashoda Rose's Tear Asunder series. You could read this as a standalone but I'd recommend reading the series in order. This is no different to her previous works as it takes you on a journey of epic proportions of anguish, pain and heartache to joy, love and passion; many times over.

Shattered By You is Haven Dedrick's story. We met her in Overwhelmed By You and she's Tear Asunder's guitarist Ream's twin sister. Her life has been filled with darkness and horror so terrible that it's a wonder she has survived. But within the darkness she has found courage, strength, perseverance, the price of her survival is that she suffers crippling flashbacks which she tries to hide from everyone. She doesn't allow anyone to get close to her, her cold demeanour is her defence against the torrent of emotions within that could explode any moment: guilt, shame and anger at her previous life without Ream. "I was a ticking time bomb, ticking slowly and steadily, waiting for another trigger to set me off." No one can know her secrets, no one can help her, she's best on her own or is she?

Crisis, guitarist and #1 player from Tear Asunder is the only one who can crack her defences. The cocky, flirtatious media whore tells things as they appear. He has no filter, keeps no secrets and never backs down from a challenge. He is a man that many people don't see the real version of: they see band member Crisis not the man behind closed doors. He opens up to Haven and I truly fell for Crisis in this book. He is fiercely protective and loyal to his family, caring and supportive, plus incredibly sexy and charming. He sees Haven as family but soon both their feeling change to something else....

This book will leave you shattered, could hardly put it down even the "one more chapter" ended up being 4 chapters later I put it down.

Haven has escaped and is now living with the band at the farm but with them going on tour Crisis makes a deal with her she calls Ream everyday and texts him, but things become more when Haven starts looking forward to his meaningless texts and she starts feeling things she never thought she would. Crisis on the other hand is a player but since Haven came into the picture he has never had anyone in his bed.
But Haven has her secrets and after her latest meltdown she feels the only way to move forward is to tell someone and that someone is Crisis and her revelation about Charlie doesn't have him running and she senses that the thing between then can be more. But Crisis has a crazed fan after him who thinks their one night meant forever but he is not keeping it from Haven and tells her everything but now with pictures of Haven being sent just how far is the crazed fan willing to go?

Just what are Haven's secrets?
How will Ream react to his twin sister going out with Crisis?

Love this series and can't wait to read Kite's story

"We all know the definition of shattered: to break into pieces; to weaken, destroy; damage, as by breaking or crushing. But my story isn t about being shattered. It's about surviving the pieces. It's about the strength found within the damaged. It's about love. Love found despite the jagged, tainted edges of who i'd become."

**5 stars**

I loved this story! I had high expectations for crisis and I wasn't disappointed. I read other reviews on this book where people said the story was slow, but I think that's what made it great. You were able to see their friendship and love grow. Haven was damaged and broken, crisis needed to gain her trust slowly and that's exactly what he did. He became her best friend and the person she needed ( even if she didn't know what she needed) he helped her love again. This story showed how love can mend your broken pieces. Crisis was her anchor as was she his.

Nashoda Rose’s Tear Asunder series is one I have I have dipped in and out of. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone but after reading Shattered by You, this little part timer is signing up to be a full time Groupie.

On the surface Shattered by You should be a depressing read. Haven, who is the twin sister to band member Ream had been held captive for a number of years. During those years she endured all number of hellish acts and her survival depended on her making herself numb. Although she is now physically “free” mentally she is still caged and driven by fear.

Havens source of light comes from an unlikely source. Crisis is the bands man-whore, joker extraordinaire. He sees Haven, he see through the façade she is barely able to hold in place and takes upon himself to thaw her icy exterior. His help is unwanted and immediately rejected by Haven but after being given an ultimatum of sorts she reluctantly agrees.

I found Crisis to be such an unlikely hero but a wholly worthy one. He has such abounding faith in Haven and his need to help her comes from a place of love. Slowly but surely with plenty of hilarious moment along the way Crisis’ brand of help gives Haven a confidence she had never imagined herself capable of. That said, Haven is a strong character, she survived such atrocity and although a life of numbness was one she at one time felt she deserved she allowed her to heal, to feel and to love. Shattered by You encompasses everything I hope for as a reader in a novel and takes pride on place on my 5 star rating shelf.
