This is the third and final book in the Unravelled Trilogy by Theresa Sederholt, in which is a direct follow on from the ending of the second book.

With the family residing in Scotland, everyone is finally at peace and looking forward to a bright future, that is until a heart breaking moment where everyone must all go back to the states. But with going back there is their safety put at risk?

Raven and Jax and their family are still trying to move on with life after previous events, but someone is out for revenge, costing others to make the ultimate sacrifice. Leaving death and destruction in its path. Jax’s control begins to waver as once again Raven’s past attempts to steal their future.

With another emotional & stressful family situation the family had a plan, get in, ask the questions, get out. But the only problem with this is they are making a deal with devil and nothing smooth sailing.

With the involvement of the devil, will Maxwell be able to bury his past and keep his last hope of a happily ever after or taken from him again?

Theresa Sederholt writing has utterly blown me away throughout the duration of the 3 books. She can keep you in suspense without having to keep you waiting too long to find out the answer. Can have you thinking something is going to happen and completely change where your mind has taken you, all the while keeping you captured into the read, not wanting to put it down.
This book has blown my mind!!! With everything this family has gone through, you really wish they would finally have peace and be able to look forward to the future that they can finally enjoy. But there is always something that pulls them back.

I have read all of the series in four days. I have not stopped reading them. I am hooked. I wanted to find out all of the answers to the questions that I had in my head and this book answered all of them. I now feel a book hangover because there’s no more Jax or Max.
This book broke me from the first paragraph. I knew from the dedication that it was going to make me cry and it did. The book did not fix me until near the end. My heart was hurting. Although, thinking of Max in a Kimono did help a bit.
I loved seeing Max and Jackie battle through their issues. It shows us that relationships are built on trusting the other one with your fears. Their relationship shows that age is just a number.

‘Max, I didn’t choose you, my heart did’
The female characters were showing that they were not the weak people that their partners thought they were. Jackie wanting to learn self-defence is one example.

‘Let’s take this world by storm and kick some ***’

Slight criticism, when they were in Scotland, a tiny amount of the terminology was in American and not British, but that did not take out the overall enjoyment of the story.
The story of Jax and Raven, Max and Jackie and even Bella and Michael had been concluded so beautifully. I am so glad that I read this series because it made me feel so much within the pages.

OMG loved it so much !!!
There are quiet a few characters to get the hang of in the start,
But once I got to grip with them all, I fell in love with each and everyone of them !!
Maxwell and Jackie have some serious issues to deal with. will they get to have a happy ever after.?
Jaxson and Raven can they get the out come they are looking for in their life?
So much to tell but don't like to spoil a book for anyone
Love Romance and Revenge all wrapped up in an amazing story.
A Must Read for sure

Shattered Lies is the final instalment in The Unraveled Trilogy by Theresa Sederholt.

As far as books go, this one certainly went out with a bang. I’m emotionally shattered from crying, laughing and crying so more.
It all starts off ever so peaceful after they finally found their place in Scotland. They’re having a wonderful time, doing the things they love and enjoy being temporarily safe.
Unfortunately, as things go, a pleasant, safe situation like that, will never stay that way.
Theresa is a master in making us think things will go one way, and then before you know it, everything has gone the opposite way.

Everything starts with Jax and Bella wanting answers from their estranged father. Even there nothing is what it actually seemed.
Max is as usual closely by their side and makes some big discoveries after Jax and Bella’s mom tells her heart breaking story from the past. This gets the ball rolling and long lost pasts are dug up, truths are found out, and the family is once again headed for mystery and danger.

After reading the previous books, you know that the author Theresa will not leave you without suspense, drama and danger, which in this book is proven again.
Characters who have had so much to endure already in their pasts will have to go through even more to get the life they want.
Sacrifices need to be made, but who…

Just like in the previous instalments we have the story written from different pov’s. In my opinion, I’ve never enjoyed this writing style, but with this trilogy it keeps everything so interesting to read, you wonder more about all the characters, in general it makes for a much more animated way of reading.
