I bought this book as we are upgrading the corporate SharePoint to SharePoint 2010. I found the book to be well written and well laid out. It has helped in refining and improving the SharePoint. The authors, Seth Bates and Tony Smith know what they are talking about and the screen prints add to the value of their words.
I would recommend this book to anyone using SharePoint 2010.

I gave up after about 4 chapters. Too much like a menu walk through and hard to find the specifics I needed. I found on-line guides more effective even though I prefer reading from paper. It's also very dry in style. Technically correct but dull as dishwater. Disappointing.

Format: Paperback
This book gives an excellent introduction to the world of Sharepoint 2010 and is full of useful examples and "how to's". I can recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn the basic, and some not so basic, features of this version.
