I actually liked this book more than the second because it was more action packed and full of adventure but I still enjoyed the first one best. In this book I found it quite annoying and sad that Dax didn't turn into a Fox as much as he usually did, after all it I his true shape. Really good, definitely recommended!!!!

Out of all of the books I've read involving shapeshifters and other paranormal elements, Ali Sparks sets the standard in imaginative fiction for all ages keeping the audience captivated, from what I would say is the best book I've read in years

SPOILER Alert! This is the 3rd book in the shapeshifter series. The beginning is ok but has a naf ending; Dax and his small gang decide to try to run away from home and go to his secret house in Exmour while the government chases them. This lasts 75% of the book. Then Owen finds them and brings them back.(There was no point in running away in the first place it turned out!)They then get attacked by a flying orb but survive. The Orb turns out to be Catherine and Gideon and Dax realize that they are one of the only Cola`s left because no one's recovered from Catharine `s evilness in the second book. On the last page or so Gideon says that Like is still alive. A bit rushed (a shame)because the first book was great.

Another brilliant book, yet again, to add to Ali Sparks shapeshifter series. This is a very good and adventurous book, full of action and a wee bit of mystery. Definitely recommend it and it's definitely worth reading. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

One of a number of books Ali Sparkes has written in this series.

I would recommend them for young readers who enjoy a bit of humour with their adventures.

Excellent Author.

This is the latest of Ali Sparkes' books and really pulls you into the emotional turmoil of the children on the run, not knowing who to turn to, the emotions are really well put across and I felt like I was there with them. The ending holds a surprising secret and you really want to know what is in store for Dax, Lisa, Gideon and Mia in the next installment...Dowsing the Dead.

This series continues to go from strength to strength. Now our intrepid heros are on the run from the very people who are supposed to protect them. Dax will need all his cunning and animal survival instincts to keep him and his friends alive. I couldn't put this one down.
