About the Author

Sundar Kanta Walker came to Britain in the late 1950's. She studied at Nottingham, Manchester and Sheffield universities. Her first novel Sare Mare was published in 1987 by Pandora press. She has contributed to numerous anthologies of poetry and fiction. She is also a well established painter, her Cumbrian, Scottish and Irish landscapes are famous for their vibrant colours and her Indian style. She lives in Cumbria and loves to paint the ever changing skies over Morecambe bay.
