The book has been divided into chapters; one for each day of the week. Each chapter looks at what outfit Fifi will choose to wear that day and why. This means that the reader gets to ogle lots of gorgeous designer clothing, fabulous art work, and interviews with some of the designers. But it's not just a book all about Fifi, there are hints and tips such as how to use colour for impact, the hardest working accessories etc...and even the odd recipe (carrot cupcakes anyone?).
The book has been put together with a delightfully insouciant air and would be a great gift for anyone with an interest in fashion.I certainly shall be bulk buying so that all my friends receive a copy this Christmas. My only complaint would be the quality of the binding of the book, and I have deducted a star rating for this.
I kept my eyes peeled on Amazon and got this for under £5. I know a lot of people have been buying this to re-sell but I don't plan on doing that. It's girly, informative and just a delight to read and I fully recommend this to fashion lovers of any age.
flesh ended up ordering one for myself. The illustrations and the detail
that goes into each outfit is incredible. I'm a fan of the blog and love
seeing the drawn outfits alongside the catwalk creations but my friend had
never seen it so seeing her so excited over my present was pretty cool.
I was also very pleasantly surprised that it wasn't just a copy of the blog,
I didn't recognise any of the outfits so I'm pretty sure they are all new
drawings and it actually works very well as a style guide. The tongue in
cheek element of a rabbit writing a fashion style guide for humans is
hilarious and a clever twist on all the generic style guides you see. My
friend told me she even went shopping the very next day using some of the
tips she had learnt. I also liked reading the designer interviews, they must
have thought it odd to be interviewed by a rabbit but it works brilliantly.
It's quite a chunky little book and absolutely packed with content so well
worth the money and I'm puzzled as to why the previous reviewer marked it
down for the binding. It looks perfectly fine to me.
Overall I'd say it's a lovely book, and the perfect present for any fashion
