Fast-paced, funny and full of action - but it all ended too soon! I'm looking forward to reading part 2 and seeing where the journey takes them.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good read 31 Jan. 2017

Not sure if it was meant to be cheesy comedy, but it grows on you. Definitely found myself laughing. Although it was hard for me to imagine Selena and Cameron to be 26 and 27 years old. I would age them more to be 18/19.

4.0 out of 5 stars It kept my attention. 5 Feb. 2017

I finished the story, which is the first one out of about 25 eBooks I have on my Kindle. Out of respect for the other authors I will not mention names. I have not decided whether to get the second volume of the story but I am leaning in that direction. It makes an interesting use of multiple mythologies.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved it!! 29 Mar. 2017

I loved this book! It was entertaining and interesting. I couldn't put the book down. I love the characters and the world they live in. The relationship between the H&H is great and I hope that they become closer in future books. I kind of felt like they could have grown closer together than what they did in this book. So I look forward to reading more about them. The other characters are just as interesting and I hope they get thier own books too. I've read many books with God's in them but this one seemed to take a unique spin on it. I hope to read more soon!!
4.0 out of 5 stars I don't believe it's listed as a YA book, but it reads like one. 4 April 2017

At least so far. Sweet potential romance. Mid/late 20's age range on the characters, but they act younger. No extreme language or sexual scenes.

In this story, the Hero is the one fighting his "destiny" instead of the Heroine. There is a lot of Mythology, of many different cultures. I liked the humorous banter between the main characters.

The writing was pretty good, and the action scenes moved the plot right along. I would have liked a little more back history, at least on the main characters. But it was a quick and easy read, and I was moderately entertained. 3-3/4 Stars for me.
4.0 out of 5 stars Delivers originality in spades 31 Mar. 2017

I love sci fi and fantasy books that have some real originality. This one delivers originality in spades. A wonderful urban fantasy mashup of multiple mythologies with a great kick-a** heroine and really wonderful hero to go with? Well developed supporting characters drawn well enough to deserve their own books? A rockin' plot that's a fun ride to travel down? I'm there, and I'm most certainly enjoying it.
