I don't know why the Proclaimers are so wonderful to listen to, but they are. For years, until I knew better, I thought of them as a sort of folksy duo to be filed as Scotland's version of the Dubliners or The Spinners (sorry to fans of all three).

How wrong can I be. Once I opened my ears I became a Proclaimers fan and now have several of their albums which seem to get better and better.

This was a track I must have missed along the way. Now a firm favourite and a lesson to me not to be dismissive of talented songwriters and singers.
