I love series 3 of Sex and the City. It seems to be the best mix of drama and comedy, and there are a few episode which are just hilarious. The links between the sences; when Carrie "narrates" what's happening have always been a great little feature in their own right. I do think all the DVDs could be padded out with some commentary or interviews with the writers, it would just bring in an added dimension. Having said that, the girls on their own are plenty to entertain you for hours - when my discs arrived everything else was put on hold until I'd watched almost an entire series in one sitting!
Particular favourite episodes from this series? It has to be when Carrie asks in her colom: "Are we Sluts?" and the episode enttitled "Easy Come, Easy Go", when Samantha meets the guy who is less than delicious! There are also issues of a more serious nature, addressed, for women everywhere to identify with. Miranda and Steve split up, but still stay together. And Charlotte's marriage quest pays off.
All in all a balanced series and well worth the purchase.

Reaffirming all that is insecure about the 21st Century woman yet offering security in its honesty. This series of Sex and The City lives up to all that have come before it.
The emotional attachments to the leading men (all of whom are gorgeous) have matured, tantalising the viewer with more commitment than ever before seen by our Sex and The City Girls- although the dress sense still resembles that of only fiction.
The series is yet another masterpiece and is an essential to every womans make-up.

Season three of the sex and the city is as good, if not better than other seasons. A lot happens. Miranda doesn't go out with Steve anymore, Carrie meets a nice ( a little boring) guy Aiden but it isn't long before the lure of Mr Big gets too much and the two start an affair ( big is married at this point). Charlotte makes it her mission to get married and is successful marrying the seemingly perfect Doctor Trey. All isn't what it seems and the couples sex life is a disaster. Samantha is her usual sexually liberated self. There is a two episode in LA with a few famous quest stars and a young Kat Dennings in 'hot child in the city'. There is one featurette which is about 5 mins long so don't get too excited. The picture quality is a bit better but don't expect it to be crystal- clear, this and the lack of extras means a 4 star rating.

A brilliant show, this DVD is a brilliant investment as these episodes can be watched over and over again. I love it, they make you laugh, they make you cry and you can identify with them so many times. This DVD set along with the others has pride of place on the shelf. This is what motivates me to get the ironing board out and tackle the mountain of clothes, as i know i can stand there and laugh along with these fabulous New York ladies, hey who cares if a few clothes get slightly singed along the way!

I have followed the sexperiences of Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda from the beginning. In this series they each seem to come into their own. Carrie isn't with Big, then she is and then she realises that they should just be friends. Charlotte finally gets her MR Right (or does she?) Samantha is, well, Samantha and Miranda and Steve are so great together but just don't know it.
This series is one of the best. i especially liked the scene early on in the series with Samantha and a fireman....
Try it....You might like it.

Sex And The City is simply the best show on TV, and this the third series is the best so far. Sarah Jessica Parker is fantastic as Carrie and is easily the best actress on TV at the moment, she is also wonderfully supported by Kristen Davies as Charlotte, Kim Catrall as Samantha and Cynthia Dixon as Miranda. If you haven't seen this programme yet i urge you to give it a try. One episode and your hooked i guarnantee it!!

As usual, Sex and the City season 3 is amazing. Love the characters, especially Samantha, she is extra hilarious in this season. Also, this is where Aiden is introduced, and the whole series just gets even more juicy! Love it!
