I love this album simply because they managed to get their cover banned in Germany. I had, once upon a time, the rare German export version for the 12" - the purple and yellow triple headed Christ cover - and sold it for a LOT of money in the nineties. Anyway, back to the album.

Valor features heavily in the vocals of this album as Rozz was slowly on his demise with heroin and Gitane DeMone was not that far behind him, but she still manages to do some vocals on this rather creepy and nihilistic album, namely Erection, Incendary Lover, and a hidden untitled track at the end. Anyone knows what that is called? I'd love to know. Anyway, all I can say is if you are a fan of CD and do not already have this album, then shame on you. GO GET IT.

As for new listeners I would recommend Only Theatre of Pain over this one, but it is still a damn good album. Some of you Kiddie Goths need to listen to old masters like CD and the Fields of the Nephilim and chuck your Good Charlotte albums in the trash... Take it from this batcaver as gospel.

When i first heard this album i was absolutly taken by the unique and stunning music and lyrics...it truly makes a great first inpression. With songs like "Tradegy" "Incendary Lover" and the Classic "This is Heresy" this album gets top marks....Wanna hear the Real Christian Death get this Album
