So I find this little book and almost all my questions have been answered in one place, simply and clearly. Nothing frivolous about this book - don't expect a "glossy" but it has to be one of the best serger reference books on the market. You probably can't find a more comprehensive book anywhere
For a newcomer like myself I needed an easy to use guide to unlock this 'air of mystery'. This handy little reference book is absolutely great for filling in those missing gaps. Its writing style is very easy to understand and the book is full of clear and useful drawings to explain the processes of setting up your machine correctly. If you are looking for a good source of reference and easy to understand practical help in getting good results from your machine, then this is a great little book to have around.
Although this is a very slim, pocket sized book, it could be at least half as slim again if all of he waffle and surplus exclamations were removed. The writing style is quite absurd - it reads as though a conversation between a pair of overexcited, late night shopping channel presenters has been transcribed and dumped verbatim into a document file.
Some of the simple line drawings and elementary descriptions of the overlocker functions were helpful to me in the early days as I battled to master my new machine. However, I simply cannot bear the thought of reading through the chatsy drivel a second time, and so will be passing the book onto the charity shop and looking for a more coherent and comprehensive text to help me advance my serging skills.

I bought this book for my 89 year old Mum. She has used an overlocker for years and she loved this book.
Arrived in time and in excellent condition.
Excellent book, works well with the pamphlet that came with my machine, but really informative and good for retaining information in! Read morePublished 8 months ago by netty
